NRA blasts Obama’s call for gun control
by Dara Kam | February 13th, 2013President Obama’s call for gun control will lead to “government confiscation of legal firearms,” and worse, according to the National Rifle Association.
The NRA posted a response to Obama’s State of the Union address on YouTube, citing Justice Department memos that said an assault weapons ban won’t work without mandatory buyback programs.
In the video, NRA Executive Director Chris Cox urges gun owners to call Congress and tell them to block the president’s gun control plan.
Cox also cites government documents that say universal background checks would work best with gun registration, something he calls a “unprecedented” breach of promise.
Obama received resounding applause last night during his speech as victims of gun violence looked on while the president repeatedly demanded that “they deserve a vote” on gun control.

The NRA once again shows what it is, Not Real Americans. They remain a self serving organization that resists the will of most americans, while hiding behind a vague understanding of the 2nd Amendment. They answer to every gun manufacting company in america, while ingnoring the violence that engulfs this country. They are an embarassment

NRA is supported by it’s memb ers not the gun industry, there are over 80 million gun owners and they oppose any further gun laws! We are willing to go to war to stop any gun confiscation! That means alot of people dying on both sides civilians, federal agents, is that what you people want? If you do your more bloodthirsty than any crazed shooter!

Too bad that the gun people don’t get as upset at the violation of the 4th Amendment (the one about unreasonable search and seizure) every time they fly out of an airport by the TSA in this country as they do about the government taking away their gun “rights!” The TSA = sexual molestation at tax payer expense!
