Menendez pal’s website notes ‘fierce campaign against the dignity of Dr. Salomon Melgen’

Dr. Salomon Melgen — the Palm Beach County eye doctor, Democratic donor and friend of New Jersey Sen. Robert Menendez whose office was raided by the FBI last week — is also chairman of the board of Voxxi, a Latino-oriented website that launched a year ago this week.
On Sunday, Voxxi offered an overview of the Menendez-Melgen controversy under the headline “A fierce campaign against the dignity of Dr. Salomon Melgen.”
Despite Melgen’s ties to Voxxi, the article doesn’t offer anything new from Melgen beyond the statement his attorney released last week to the rest of the media: “The government has not informed Dr. Melgen what its concerns are. However, we are confident that Dr. Melgen has acted appropriately at all times.”
