For me, this election is about EQUAL RIGHTS. How can we barge into another county and fight for their equal rights but then come home and deny equal rights to our own folks? Anyone who says gays can’t marry b/c it’s agaist the bible is trying to merge church and state. There is a reason they have to be separate. When we bring religion into politics, awful things like the Holocaust take place. Your religious view on abortion will not help or hurt America. Your religious view on EQUAL RIGHTS for gays will not hurt America. Obamacare, though not perfect, is a start and with a little tweaking, will be one of the best things to happen to all of us.

Romney was born rich. Does anyone understand what this means? He doesn’t know what it’s like to dump his life savings into a business and build from the ground up. It means he doesn’t care about investing in healthcare b/c he can afford the best care for his family and all of his freinds. He won’t care if public transportation funding is cut; he can afford to go anywhere he wants, by any means. Unless you are in the (stretch it to) top 5%, by voting Romney, you are essentially voting against your own best interest.

If the U.S. would stop funding the introduction of Democracy in countries where we are not welcome nor wanted, our deficit would shrink considerably.

Obama didn’t have:

234 years to “fix” or break the Postal Service

74 years to make or break Social Security

71 years to “get Fannie Mae ‘right’”

45 years to erase poverty in the U.S.

44 years to get Medicaid & Medicare ‘right’

39 years to fix Freddie Mac

32 years to fix the Department of Energy

Those who live in poverty will STAY poor, hungry and jobless if the Republicans continue on the present course. We need to bring our troops, ambassadors, civilian contractors and other Americans home from the middle east and let them fight it out themselves. Use the military to address terrorist and other threats to our citizens and national security, but BRING OUR PEOPLE HOME!!

The country has to be run like a country and not a business. In business, someone stands to financially gain from policies and rules.

Mitt Romney couldn’t even bring himself to speak about our VETERANS in the debate last night. Just like he “oops forgot” to mention the Afghan War at his convention. FORGOT to mention this war we’ve been fighting for ELEVEN YEARS. Totally unacceptable!!!

President Obama has earned Four More Years and Florida is going to DELIVER its 29 electoral votes to the furthering of the American Dream, not a New Gilded Age under a crooked Bossman.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 50% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 46%. One percent (1%) prefers some other candidate, and two percent (2%) are undecided.

a.. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 234
years to get it right and it is broke.

b.. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to
get it right and it is broke.

c.. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it
right and it is broke.

d.. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it
right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to
“the poor” and they only want more.

e.. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44
years to get it right and they are broke.

f.. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get
it right and it is broke.

g.. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our
dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of
$24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get
it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every “government service” you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.

AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED
WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM??

Folks, keep this circulating. It is very well stated. Maybe it will
end up in the e-mails of some of our “duly elected’ (they never read
anything) and their staff will clue them in on how Americans feel.

In the last months we have provided aid to Haiti , Chile , and

Our retired seniors living on a ‘fixed income’ receive no aid nor do
they get any breaks

AMERICA: a country where we have homeless without shelter, children
going to bed hungry, elderly going without ‘needed’ meds, and mentally
ill without treatment -etc,etc.

Imagine if the *GOVERNMENT* gave ‘US’ the same support they give to
other countries. Sad isn’t it?

99% of people won’t have the guts to forward this.

So, basically you only have to care about yourself, that’s what I thought.

If you are a woman and not supporting our President, I’m clueless to understand your thinking.

If you care about our envirnoment (and in Florida it’s huge!), you’d be shortsighted to support the Republican Party – which has just become too extreme of late.
