Obama staying in low-key Boca hotel before morning rally in Delray
by Andrew Abramson | October 23rd, 2012BOCA RATON — While Mitt Romney spent a long weekend in the highly visible Delray Beach Marriott just steps away from the beach, President Obama is spending his one night in South Florida at the Embassy Suites on NW 53rd St in Boca Raton.
Security is extremely tight in the entire circle of hotels on NW 53rd St. Police have barricaded the entrance to side streets leading to the Embassy Suites and Guest Suites, requiring drivers to show room cards before they can gain entrance.
In addition to the large contingent of Boca Raton police and Secret Service camped out at the Embassy Suites, a Boca police van is also camped out at the Guest Suites across the street.
Now that he’s completed his final debate and instant polls are pundits are scoring it a victory for the president, Obama can have a restful night before hosting a rally at the Delray Beach Tennis Center this morning. He is expected to appear around 10:15 a.m.

Instant polls are declaring Obama a winner???? Hey PB Post, have you seen the instant poll over at the Sun Sentinel???? Maybe you should check that out and let everyone know that Romney fared 95% to YOUR Obama’s 5% on every issue except who was more aggressive. I surmise the victory on being more aggressive should go to Barack because I believe he knows he is a one term president. The REAL American public will vote him out of office 11/6/12! Watch the movie 2016!

Hey Maximus, that poll at Sun Sentinel is not a scientific poll. The Republican party of PB and Broward probably encouraged supporters to flood that internet poll. All scientific instant polls taken after the debate show Obama as the winner.

Sun Sentinel was rigged….. NO QUESTION. EVERY other news outlet, including the Miami Herald gave it to Obama by a landslide, 85% to 14% …. whoever in the Romney camp thought that would work should go back to playing Battleship!!!

Why does the post make it seem like Romney spent alot on some fancy hotel on the beach? Delray Marriott is nice but its not the Ritz. Same price range as the Embassy Suites.

The “everyman” stays at a no frills hotel and the “rich guy” stays at a Marriott? Is that what we really should have gotten out of this non-interesting story? We’re running out of ideas here. I believe I heard a story the other day that the Obamas ate” steak and potatoes” before debate. Does anyone really care?
