Murphy and Democratic super PAC launch ads highlighting West’s ‘neutering’ remark
by George Bennett | September 20th, 2012Democratic House hopeful Patrick Murphy and a Democratic super PAC have both launched ads this week featuring a 2011 clip of Republican U.S. Rep. Allen West decrying “all these women that have been neutering American men and bringing us to the point of this incredible weakness.”
West campaign manager Tim Edson accused Murphy and the House Majority PAC of “playing games with out of context clips” because, in a longer clip, West was directing his remarks to the conservative Women Impacting the Nation group against “these Planned Parenthood women, the Code Pink women.”
West holds roughly a 4-to-1 fundraising advantage over Murphy. But Murphy is getting air support from at least three outside groups so far: a super PAC financed largely by Murphy’s father, Thomas P. Murphy Jr.; the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which is running an ad slamming West on Medicare; and the new ad by the House Majority PAC, which is reportedly spending $1 million to air the spot.
West, who has raised more than $10 million, has produced a fusillade of his own ads and has also been aided recently by a super PAC that has made a $481,590 ad buy.

As expected, totally out of context nonsense from the candidate in hiding, Patrick Murphy. A majority of Americans, including myself, are against paying for birth control with our dollars.
Regarding Congressman West’s quote, he was referring to the ultra-left militant group Code Pink, the same group that disrupts military funerals for our fallen heroes. How many women identify with these ultra-left crazies?
Voters will not fall for Murphy’s lies and deceptions. He needs to step up and engage Allen West in multiple public debates.
Who’s the chicken, Patrick?

The Talmud warns that “half the truth is not the truth.” Allen West’s opponent engages in half truths indeed when he made that commercial in which Congressman West was referring to the left wing extremists of Code Pink which even most of his opponent’s fellow Democ-rats abjure. Indeed West’s opponent’s campaign is based on lies and their telling is financed by Nazi collaborator George Soros financed “committees.” Notice that the above article doesn’t say who the third source of outside financing for West’s opponent is. At any rate the ads are false, what lawyers would call “fraud in the fulcrum.”

Congressman West is a loving father of two teen age daughters, and a devoted husband. He honors and cherishes women. This ad by Murphy has been edited to distort Congressman West’s words and beliefs. Murphy has no accomplishments in his career, and no reason to run for office. I believe his entire campaign will be distortions against Allen West. If elected, Murphy will be a totally reliable vote for socialism.
Let’s pray this does not happen.

Interesting how the right-wingers invent statistics to suit whatever type of propaganda they wish to promote. West is just an example of the GOP/Teabaggers war on women. They are NOT in favor of equal work for equal pay, are against a woman’s right to choose, are even trying to prevent women from being able to use contraceptives and some of these knuckle dragging neanderthals even want to take away a woman’s right to vote. I have NEVER seen a legitimate poll showing that the MAJORITY of taxpayers are against paying for birth control. Mr. West has been and continues to be a terrible Congressman. He will not even respond to his constituents correspondence which happens to be a basic duty for a Congressperson to fulfill. He continues to make outrageous, unsubstantiated comments which serve NO useful purpose other than to be divisive. He represents a throwback to the McCarthy era when the U.S. Government spent a great deal of time searching for Communists. His greatest asset is his big mouth for which he gets lots of publicity but accomplishes absolutely nothing. Look up Allen West on Popvox.com and see what kind of legislation Mr. West has contributed in Congress and see how Mr. West has voted in Congress. Mr. West, like most GOP/Teabaggers has been extremely anti-women. Mr. West is a divisive politician who represents the extreme right-wing of the GOP/Teabagger party and has been a totally incompetent Congressman. ANYBODY but West!

The candidates are both well funded and don’t mind slinging a little mud. West now has a race on his hands, and his incendiary rhetoric is being flung back in his face. A good time is being had by all……

Funny how the additional “context” of the clip is exactly what the ad is implying…Allen West was once again attacking women’s rights advocates. and interesting he had nothing to say about all the votes the ads highlight that HURT women. You can have a wife and children, that doesn’t mean you have any business being involved in women’s healthcare decisions!

Everyone with any sense knows that Allen West was talking about code pink. contraceptives are so cheap that any women can afford them. We should not be asked to pay for them. They also want us to pay for sex changes. Do you want to pay for them? Obama is the one against women where it actually counts. The women in his WH are paid less than the men. The ridiculous claim that he does not want women to vote, is really too inept to even answer

As is typical of any Democrat, and was painfully obvious at the DNC, if their lips are moving, they are lying! Murphy fits right in with this lying pack of socialists. In fact it’s his only qualification for running. I find it hysterical that he now has Sandra Fluke speaking for him, since he has yet to speak for himself. I guess he is not aware that Floridians are more concerned with Medicare, than some priviledged, arrogant, grad student, who wants us to pay for her birth control for her excessive sex life! We are concerned with Medicare being gutted by $716 billion to pay for obamacare, which will only hasten Medicare’s ultimate demise!

Good heavens! It’s obvious Ms. Fluke is out for self publicity and all she can get by speaking in public…and Mr.Murphy and his campaign people are falling for it??! Seems to me she should cut back on her sexual activity and not have to worry about having others pay for her party times. I certainly don’t want my money being used for that! Col. West is our best choice and I have found him to be truthful and dedicated. Don’t know anything about Murphy…that should tell us something..not ready for prime time.

West is a two face liar. In one hand held his military service and in the other hand holds his money from his rich constituents. The problem with this is the rich constituents cut off any benefits they can to military veterans as non-essential spending. This spending on military heroes takes away from their main goals of tax breaks for the rich. Ask two face Allen West if we could bring back the draft, he will give you some more republican BS of how this would backfire on the taxpayers and cost Americans more tax dollars. That would only make little wimps like Willard Mitt Romney to have to man up and get their hands bloody and we could not have that now could we. Oh no you can’t take my little angel to fight this war, that is what we have the poor people for. The war would end tomorrow if we vote to restore the draft today. The rich cowards could not stand for their little babies getting their hands dirty. Yes, war is easy when you don’t have to sacrifice anything, even when you are asked to pay a little more in taxes, you complain. This is why I am not voting for any republican, they can rot in hell with their money.

Commadorable says Democrats are liars. The only thing you can commador is the Titanic. When you want to say liar, just say Mitt Romney, if you look up Willard in wikipedia you see a picture of Romney holding a sign that says, tax breaks for the rich, highlighted liar,it will just trickle down to the poor. If you continue to make the same mistake over and over again, this is the definition of insanity. Republicans=insanity. It’s like giving a loaded gun to the person that just killed your whole family and ask that person to do the right thing and spare your life. Giving the republicans another chance is the same thing as giving that person that killed your family a loaded gun, that’s suicide. Save America and the middle class, vote Democrat and live forward.

You present an interesting angle in regards to a democratic super and its consequences. I think that you were right on with this article. Great job George.

This past week, Trump offered to give $5 million to a charity of Obama’s choice if he releases his college and passport records. Obama responded by telling his own joke about him and Trump fighting while growing up in Kenya. http://www.bit.ly/WRFiT5
