West is right because he is ex military and pays attention to the reports that come in.There were alternative reasons why this attack happened,and the terrorists(freedom fighters)were coerced into their behavior,but if our representatives and soldiers are attacked we must not apologize because it is the leaders who start the problems and the common man who is dealt the burden of cleaning it up.If we send people overseas they are just doing their job.I personally am in favor of closing down embassies in many countries,not just to save money,but to save lives.We do need that money.

I have seen lots of useful items on your internet site about personal computers. However, I’ve the judgment that netbooks are still not quite powerful enough to be a good selection if you normally do jobs that require lots of power, including video enhancing. But for net surfing, statement processing, and majority of other popular computer functions they are just fine, provided you do not mind the tiny screen size. Many thanks for sharing your ideas.

“In his speech today to the United Nations, President Obama stated six times that the attacks across the Islamic world are attributed to a silly video. Furthermore, he refused to use the words terrorist attack in referring to what occurred in Benghazi Libya at our US Consulate on the 11th anniversary of 9-11. He continues to offer up apologies instead of defending our hard earned First Amendment right to freedom of speech and expression. There is no message to this silly video trailer, and it is beneath the dignity and esteem of the Office of the President of the United States to mention it at all. When tolerance becomes a one way street it leads to cultural suicide. I shall not be tolerant of the intolerant. I know about the UN Resolution 1618 which would make any statement deemed by the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) “offensive’ to Islam a crime…..NOT ON MY WATCH FELLAS!” –

The U.S. always tried diplomacy first and if that does not work and it appears to be an attack on us, then we have to face it with reality and state the obvious, you attack us…. we will come down on you. The attack on our embassy is not a law and order issue that can be handled with arrests (how would you find them?). Good for West with the common sense answer to these horrific issues that interfere with humanity.

I think Republicans are thought of as Christians. I’m not sure all Republicans are Christians, but for the most part I tend to think they claim to be. Jesus said — pray for your enemies; turn the other cheek. Why don’t you try that??? Guess West is not a fan of the great President Teddy Roosevelt, who stated “Speak softly, but carry a big stick”.
When you are the world’s big dog, like the US with the strongest military by far, you can afford to send a firm diplomatic message to a diplomatic audience, especially when that specific audience and everyone else on earth already knows we have the overwhelming military power to destroy the entire planet 20 times over.
To speak only of the death and destruction we can bring sends the message that we are but a one-dimensional power, unable to change or shape world events through other non-military means.

West’s “Angel of Death….havoc and destruction” comment is more appropriately stated in the bar on Friday night amongst drunk friends, not by someone universally recognized as the world’s most powerful leader at the UN.
And after West’s proposed havoc and destruction is unleashed……then what?
Is there any other objective he proposes other than destruction for the sole sake of destruction?

West continues his loose cannon behavior now in office, and seems the type of politician who subscribes to the senseless dictum of “what’s the sense of having the world’s most powerful military unless we use it all the time?”
It’s all rah-rah fun ‘n games until your own kid joins the military and gets killed in a West-supported, half-cocked military adventure.

West can go a long way to let us know more about him by releasing his DD-214 Military Discharge form, if only to show if the Army determined his character of military discharge reflected “Other than Honorable” Service.

It’s better for West to keep his mouth shut and be thought the raving lunatic, than to open it and remove all doubt.

Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton need to be held accountable for the deaths of our ambassador and the 3 other Americans in Libya. They were derelict in their duty to protect our embassies and consulates. If Obama had bothered to interrupt his American Idol tour long enough to attend any of his intelligence briefings, he might have seen the warnings for 9/11.

As Allen West pointed out, President Obama stated six times in his UN speech that the attacks across the Islamic world are attributed to a video, while his press secretary admits the killing of four Americans was certainly a terrorist attack. The mixed messages from our administration are hurting our standing in the world community, and elevating the status of our enemies.

I agree with Congressman West – we need a president who is outraged with the killing of a US Ambassador and three other Americans, a president who will promise swift justice to any group that attacks our people and facilities.

Obama doesn’t get it. The murder of an ambassador and his people is not a ‘bump in the road’ — it’s an act of war.

Congratulations to Congressman West for showing courage against our enemies; something our President cannot seem to do. Radical Islamics are like rabid dogs; you cannot calm a rabid dog with the offer of a dog biscuit and you cannot calm a radical islamic terrorist with an apology. They are not rational and acting rational towards them is not going to work. The bottom line is Chris Stevens was killed in a terrorist attack but our President cannnot bring himself to admit that. What we need now is strong leadership from someone who is not afraid to speak up to our enemies. Congressman West is one who is not afraid. Unfortunately our Commander in Chief is weak and because of his weakness our country is now preceived as weak.
