I’m 57 and on SSDI, any changes to Medicare and Social Security will only hurt me. My health is failing and now Mitt wants a VP like Ryan, who wants to kill Medicare and turn it into a voucher program. Who’s going to sell insurance to a disabled person????

Romney/Ryan think that senior citizens don’t care about people who come after them. I’m 65 and have 3 kids in their 40′s. I care about their health care in their old age as much as my own. Another thing people seem to forget is that without government help such as Medicare and Social Security a lot of seniors will need lots of help from their offspring. I’m sure all those young folks won’t mind having mom and dad come to live with them. Or paying for mom’s health care bills.

I have heard Ryan’s plan. It’s disgraceful.
He would gut every social program while giving 10% tax cuts to those making over $1 million a year. He would increase military spending by 20%. So instead of spending $3 billion a week on our death marches we would spend more.
Republicans destroyed our nation from 2000-2008 – how can people forget so fast where we were in 2008?
If you want to start losing 800,000 jobs a month, let Wall Street Vultures buy profitable American companies and raid their treasuries, fire the workers and sell off the assets until there are no more American companies – vote for these two lying extremists.
Mitt the Mormon – dodged the Vietnam draft and spent the war riding his bicycle around France shoving his religion down everyone’s throats. Then he became a prolific tax dodger who refuses to release his taxes because they show he paid no income tax on $20 million yearly income. Under Ryan’s plan he would pay 1% annual tax on $20 million in annual pay.
If you think that’s fair vote for him.

Just got a phone call from the local Republican office in WPB asking me questions about issues in the upcoming election. When I asked the Republican representative to repeat a question because they were speaking too fast to hear it completely, they hung up on me. So rude and always in a hurry just like the Republiclowns in Florida and elsewhere. Good riddance, I say.

The 500 billion taken out of Medicare was only taken out of Medicare Advantage payments not from Original Fee-for-Service Medicare. That does not cut benefits of the program. Check your facts “Problem with Post”. I work in the industry.

How about addressing the $700 billion President Obama has drained away from Medicare? Shh, shh, that’s not to be discussed! It’s supposed to be swept under the rug.

44% of registered voters in PB County are democrats, 20%+ are Republicans.

The unbalanced news in this newspaper, the endorsements in this newspaper lean heavily democrat.

How about being HONEST and telling the readers the percentage of republicans endorsed and the percentage of democrats endorsed by the Post Times.

The League of Women Voters is heavily democrat. Their former VP entered herself in a lcoal political race (but pulled out) and ofcourse she listed her political affliation as democrat.

Question is, what are the Rmoney/Ryan “reforms” supposed to be? Republican/Teabagger speak for “reform” usually means cutbacks while giving more tax breaks to the rich and corporate America. We all know that the Ryan budget plan is all about destroying the middle class but we are supposed to believe that Rmoney is going to run the show. Yeah right.
