‘Remarkable’ Florida AG Pam Bondi to speak at Republican convention

by George Bennett | August 8th, 2012

Bondi

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi will have a speaking slot at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, the GOP announced this morning.

Also added today: Texas tea party sensation Ted Cruz, the former solicitor general who just won the state’s GOP Senate primary; recall-surviving Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, whose battles with public employee unions have made him a conservative hero and labor target; Puerto Rico Gov. Luis Fortuno; and Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens.

Said GOP Chairman Reince Preibus: “These five remarkable individuals will bring a diversity of experiences and perspectives to the convention stage in Tampa, where they will voice their support for Governor Mitt Romney. They have each served the public in their own impressive ways, and they all share a dedication to the Republican principles of individual opportunity, responsible government and personal liberty.”

Gov. Rick Scott and former Gov. Jeb Bush are among the speakers the GOP announced Monday and Tuesday.

    OMG, really? Pam Bondi? LMAO

  2. Columbo Says:

Ahhh…one more question…Is this the same Gov. Snott who embezzled billions from the Feds when at Columbia HCA and the same Gov. Walker who is under investigation for wrongdoing as Milwaukee Co. Executive?

What a lineup…crooks…every one of them!!! Maybe Bondi will catch them.

  3. Uncle Josh Says:

    Good Grief!

    “Maybe Bondi will catch them”

Nice thought however politicians, lawyers and crooks will keep on doing what they are good at. Just like everyone else.

Ane one parting thought; Governor Scott claimed he knew nothing about financial crimes at Columbia. He was never found guilty. How is that for a happy ending?

  4. sandl215 Says:

Happy ending? He is now governor of florida. Wae are not happy. Ahnd he was found guilty. He was fined millions of dollars by the government.
Do your homework before leaving a reply……..

  5. Toni Says:

What a disgusting line-up, one phonier than the next. All millionaires but hey you middle class people just keep thinking they are going to look ot for your best interests.

  6. timtopper Says:

where is Bondi’s outrage over the fraud committed by HCA in all their un-needed heart procedures? But she stood by Gov. Fraud while he pimped for the automobile insurance industry. Bondi, Scott, Atwater–fools the entire lot of them. I can handle Mitt over obama, but these shady characters will not help him at all.

  7. MIGHTYOAK99 Says:

And the Dems will be representing themselves with non-millionaires?
That leaves out Obammy and 95% of his cronies.
I like the GOP convention lineup.

  8. Deb Says:

Wow what a line we have! Crooks, liars, crooks, etc. Makes me proud to be a Republican! NOT! What a shme that we are going to beat ourselves ?

  9. MIGHTYOAK99 Says:

If we could only get ourselves a straight shooter like Obama or Eric Holder. They don’t play games, or the race card. Is Senator Charlie Rangle available?

  10. Downtown Danny Says:

The woman who FIRED the investigators who found banks swindling people with phony documents signed in strip-mall signature mills set up by crooked bankers – PAM BONDI fired them!
Then she killed the investigation completely and now pursues no cases against the banks for their millions of phony doc scams.
    She’s a poster child for Republicans –
a woman with no moral compass who will sell out to whoever tells her to.

  11. FL_Independent Says:

    Downtown Danny,
Both were attorneys, not investigators. Even worse. And you’re absolutely right. The investigation is dead. All I can say.
