Media barred from Rubio’s upcoming Forum Club speech but allowed to cover Q&A
by George Bennett | August 15th, 2012When Sen. Marco Rubio speaks at a Forum Club of the Palm Beaches lunch at the Palm Beach County Convention Center next week, event organizers have agreed with Rubio’s request that the Senator’s prepared remarks be closed to the press.
But the traditional question-and-answer session with Forum Club audience members immediately after the speech will be open to the media.
“He was glad to speak to this group, but didn’t want to make the remarks public,” Rubio spokesman Alex Conant said.
In the last 20 years, Forum Club Executive Director Gayle Pallesen said, the only other time the club has agreed to bar the media from a speech was for Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito this year. Alito ended up cancelling because of a family emergency.

I do consider all the ideas you have introduced to your post. They are really convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are very brief for novices. May you please prolong them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.
