Hasner a chair of national Jewish Americans For Romney Coalition

by George Bennett | August 1st, 2012

Former state House majority leader Adam Hasner of Boca Raton, now a high-profile Republican congressional candidate, has been named one of five honorary chairs of the new Jewish Americans For Romney Coalition.

Other chairs are House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., former Minnesota Sens. Norm Coleman and Rudy Boschwitz and former Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle.

Boca Raton developer and former ambassador to The Bahamas Ned Siegel is a member of the group’s national advisory board.

Obama got 78 percent of the Jewish vote in 2008, but Republicans hope that cutting into that margin will make a difference in Florida and other closely contested states with significant Jewish populations.
