Nelson names Mitchell as campaign manager
by John Kennedy | July 16th, 2012Democrat Bill Nelson named longtime chief-of-staff Pete Mitchell as campaign manager Monday for his bid to win a third term in the U.S. Senate.
Nelson’s leading Republican opponent, U.S. Rep. Connie Mack, has already moved his chief-of-staff, Jeff Cohen, into a similar role for the fall campaign.
Mitchell, 60, has been with Nelson since his days on the Florida Cabinet, where the candidate served as treasurer, insurance commissioner and state fire marshall from 1994 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2000. Mitchell also served as staff director of the state House budget committee in Tallahassee before joining Nelson.

Bill Nelson is the poorest excuse for a Senator. His staff is just as inept. Bill does not visit his constituents and neither does his staff. anyone but Bill!
