For those saying that he has done nothing in Congress, please tell me what a freshman congressman CAN do except exactly what they are told to do by the leadership.
Believing that any newbie Congressman or Senator is going to get a lot done in his/her first term or two in office is foolish. They have no power.
The first term is a test case to see if you are a team player. If you aren’t then the parties won’t back you. If you are then they push to get you reelected and move you up into the cycle.
We really need to break that mode in politics.
