Obama to raise money, court Hispanic vote in Miami Beach

by George Bennett | June 26th, 2012

President Obama, who visited Lake Buena Vista and Tampa last week, returns to Florida tonight for a pair of fundraisers.

He’ll attend a $40,000-a-head dinner with about 30 guests at a private home in the Miami area, then attend a $100-and-up event featuring salsa singer Marc Anthony at the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater.

Anthony is also expected to make an appearance earlier in the day in Miami-Dade as part of the Hispanics for Obama outreach.

With Miami’s large Cuban-American community, Mitt Romney campaign adviser Alberto Martinez noted in an e-mail this morning that “President Obama heads to Miami for the first time since receiving the endorsement of Mariela Castro.” The niece of Fidel Castro said in May that she’d vote for Obama if she were a U.S. citizen.

Romney takes NO POSITION on policies that are critical to the average American.

He has done it on issue after issue.

    WAKE UP MEDIA!

Watch as the Romney surrogate refuses to answer a simple question about Romney’s position on SB1070 on CNN:

All Romney does is look is petty things to complain about Obama. He seems like a mean nasty person
