Obama, Rubio, Scott to address national Hispanic group at Disney World today

by George Bennett | June 22nd, 2012

LAKE BUENA VISTA — The courting of Hispanic voters continues today at Walt Disney World.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney on Thursday spoke to the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials conference here.

Today it’s President Obama‘s turn. A week after getting Latino applause for issuing a directive to halt deportations of people brought to the country illegally by their parents, Obama is slated to take the stage in the early afternoon. Obama will also appear at a campaign rally in Tampa later in the day.

Sen. Marco Rubio and Gov. Rick Scott are scheduled to speak to the NALEO conference earlier in the day.
