Kristin Jacobs launches first TV spot in Dem congressional primary vs. Frankel

by George Bennett | June 11th, 2012

Broward County Commissioner Kristin Jacobs is airing an ad in her Democratic congressional primary race against former West Palm Beach mayor Lois Frankel.

The Jacobs spot is positive, highlighting her status as a “mom, neighborhood activist and county commissioner” and appointee by President Obama to a national committee on coastal protection. There’s no mention of the heavily favored Frankel, but Jacobs makes implied jabs at her feisty rival by saying she has a history of “bringing people together to create change” and saying “I know how to work with others.”

The winner of the Frankel-Jacobs primary faces Republican Adam Hasner in Palm Beach-Broward District 22. Jacobs’ ad is running on broadcast and cable TV in Palm Beach County and cable only in Broward County.

  1. Broward Dem Says:

What a breath of fresh air Kristin Jacobs would be for South Florida and DC.

  2. Production Says:

Wow. This is a classic case of horrible production values and a very bad idea.
