The theatrics of outrage: Dem aide offers tips before West visit
by George Bennett | May 1st, 2012U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Plantation, is scheduled to give a routine congressional update at this morning’s Palm Beach County commission meeting. With tea party favorite West’s reputation for controversial rhetoric, one Democratic aide coached his boss on the best way to walk out of the meeting “if he gets too insulting to the president or Democrats.”
Peyton McArthur, a former executive director of the county Democratic Party who’s now an administrative aide to Commissioner Paulette Burdick, e-mailed this advice to Burdick in preparation for a Monday appearance by West at the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches and today’s West appearance before the county’s Greatest Deliberative Body:
“Hopefully, he will be on his best behavior, but you should walk out of the Forum Club and the BCC if he gets too insulting to the President or Democrats. Don’t be the first one to walk out, but don’t be the last either.”

Paulette Burdick wants employees to divulge their health issues. Have high blood pressure, have high cholesterol, have diabetes, have cancer, have STD, Burdick wants PBC employees to divulge that information to their employer.
This is an invasion of privacy. Thank goodness, Burt Aaronson talked her out of it.
But beware she’ll bring it up again.
and are taxpayers funding the cost for Burdick’s ‘aide’?
Burdick knows one thing: raise taxes and she never found a program she didn’t want to spend the public’s funds on.

Nice to see our commissioners who were elected by the people of Palm Beach county are taking direction straight from the PARTY. Sounds like a set up to me. Kind of makes you wonder whether it’s worth spending tax payer money on these frauds or will the Democratic Party fund our future mini-dictators.

That’s right.
If you want to be taken seriously, you need to BE SERIOUS. Allen West is not serious, he is a comedian. He is the corporate plutocrats’ COURT JESTER.
Patrick Murphy, running against West in FL-18, is a serious public servant with the economic wherewithall to improve our economy here in Florida.
I think ALL Democrats should get up and walk out on West at the same time and show their support for Democrats across the country who have been forced to deal with Tea Party comedians for the last few years. They are NOT serious. They do not DESERVE to be taken seriously. They are, in fact, only representatives of the extraordinarily wealthy corporate plutocrats.
Enough is Enough!
Vote out ALL Republicans at the State and Federal level.

OK so now we have a commissioner who is taking political advice from the ultimate dork Peyton McArthur.
Only good thing that can be said about Burdick is she’s smarter than Jeff Koons, but not by much.

West – who claims he believes in freedom – voted against a bill to stop employers from demanding employees give up their passwords to their FB accounts or any other social media they are involved in – so employers can go on their site and read every comment they’ve ever made about anything – West voted in lockstep with Republicans to stop the bill in favor of employers prying into your private life.
The vote was last week.

First off, it is the Tea Party movement.

βThe Tea Party is a vast, dispersed, grassroots movement. There is no central leader, organization, or even organizing committee. There are small chapters scattered through-out the country, with rough coordination via social media, the Internet, and local activist groups.
. . . three foundational principles embraced by the Tea Party: (1) limited government, (2) unapologetic U.S. sovereignty, and (3) constitutional originalism.
. . .
It is this resurgent pride of the American people β a backlash against the antiexceptionalism of the modern progressive movement β that has given rise to the Tea Party movement.β
