County GOP Chairman Dinerstein: ‘You can’t catch Mitt’

by George Bennett | February 8th, 2012

Dinerstein

Palm Beach County Republican Chairman Sid Dinerstein said he’s not endorsing GOP presidential frontrunner Mitt Romney, but “if I were king, I’d ask all the others to drop out…There’s just no path for anyone else.”

Dinerstein was asked about Rick Santorum‘s victories Tuesday in nonbinding contests in Minnesota, Missouri and Colorado and whether they indicate that Romney has a problem with the party’s conservative base.

“There’s less there than meets the eye. As long as there are primaries, there will be conservatives who will vote for some conservative who isn’t Mitt Romney. When the primaries end or when everyone gives up, the conservatives will support Mitt Romney,” Dinerstein said.

“At the end of the day, you can’t catch Mitt…This was decided with the Florida primary,” Dinerstein said.

Unfortunately, this guy is just another of the low echelon hapless RINOs who is neither too swift (playing the safe historical hand as he sees it) nor conservative (Libertarian) enough to ignite the passions of most of us common productive responsible people (along with the rapidly rising number of young bright college types) who are for fiscal responsibility, free markets and limited government, have been increasingly repressed, cheated, gypped, and on and on — and are now finally fed up with the decades of similar corruptness across both party lines.

We need a clean sweep to get back to following the brilliant thinking of our founders.

    Jefferson quotes:

“It has been said the greatest volume of sheer brain power in one place occurred when Jefferson dined alone.” John Kennedy

“When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe.

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.

It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.

I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.

No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

    Bottom line:

I don’t think this guy has the cahones to stand tall and really lead.

Cutting and pasting from the newsletters again I see. Just the correct spelling eliminates any possibility that you wrote this. LOL

[The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.]
You Repubs. need to remember this part and keep it in mind!!!

And this is exactly what the 1% is doing and why our President is against it.

Select quotes taken out of context to appear to say what you want. How very Republican and deceptive of you.

  4. Ana Says:

How is that not an endorsement, Sid? Glad that you’re not ‘king’ because there are a lot of us who think differently. If it’s Mitt, the outcome will be similar to McCain vs Obama.

There’s a big difference between saying the nominee will automatically get conservatives votes as opposed to putting their hearts into it to make the difference.

  5. Skeptic Says:

Mr.Dinerstein, after 15 years of republican control of the executive and legislative branches of Floeidas goverment why is our school systems and infrastructures in the state of decay that they are in, Obama has not been president that lon, in fact the republicans held the national equivalents for most of the prior(to Obama) 10 years.

    @Same Ole, Same Ole

Nice Jeffersonian quotes there. Hypocritical, but nice. Here’s one you should follow:

“‘Tis better to be silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.”

By far the best and most important 2012 speech so far . . .

If this doesn’t make you want to stand up and cheer and motivate you to do more to help our country, I don’t know what will.
