Herman Cain to endorse Gingrich at tonight’s Lincoln Day Dinner at Kravis Center

by Andrew Abramson | January 28th, 2012

WEST PALM BEACH — Herman Cain will be a surprise guest at tonight’s Lincoln Day Dinner at the Kravis Center to endorse Newt Gingrich, the Palm Beach Post has confirmed.

The Shark Tank, a conservative news site, was the first to report the endorsement.

Earlier today, Palm Beach County GOP chairman Sid Dinerstein promised a big surprise at tonight’s dinner.

Gingrich was supposed to speak at 8 p.m. but arrived to West Palm Beach late. He has apparently landed and will arrive shortly. Stay tuned for full coverage from the event.

You are reporting that Herman Cain is going to stand before that crowd and speak the words, “I endorse Newt Gingrich.”??? That is what is going to happen or are you making an assumption that he is endorsing Newt because he is showing up at a dinner in his honor? There is a difference. Mr. Cain has said that his endorsement is for the American people to decide who they want and that he would not select a specific candidate at this time. The only thing that would change that, I believe, is if Gingrich stands up there and says that he will take on 999. Maybe that is the big surprise???

If only you knew how much of the news is made up. The next election is shaping up to be as big of a sham as the last. Do you know why Sarah Palin’s bus tour was really canceled? Do you know why she stayed 30 miles away from the second debate and chose the death of Steve Jobs to announce that she’s not running? Know what leaked out? Sarah Palin and Cain aren’t in the race for the same reason, the truth leaked out.

  6. Maureen Says:

And that’s what he did…and he did say that he knows that 999 will be waiting for him.

  7. JJ Says:

Newt is a slimey pig who just wants power, one cheater endorses another cheater. Newt probably begged Herman, hes loosing. Rino Newt in it for the Power, and couldnt get congress together

    Newt couldnt win Obama

  9. cb Says:

Eighty-four ethics charges were filed against Speaker Gingrich during his term, including claiming tax-exempt status for a college course run for political purposes. However we say it, Mr. Gingrich is all about the money (ask wife number three). In a recent story, “Gingrich was ask to return the estimated $1.6 million he received for providing strategic advice to Freddie Mac, the quasi-government agency (an agency that has lost millions) that guarantees home mortgages. Gingrich has said he acted as a historian, not a lobbyist”. A “historian”, is that the history of greed? He may just sell you a book on it!

  10. KansasGirl Says:

Pray tell cb, what was the outcome of these charges?

kayla, I don’t think anybody wants to “win” O.
