Frankel and Murphy fight back after West tells Democrats to ‘get the hell out of America’
by Andrew Abramson | January 30th, 2012In case you missed it, Rep. Allen West told President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Debbie Wasserman Schultz to “Get the Hell out of the United States of America,” during a memorable speech at Saturday night’s Lincoln Day Dinner at the Kravis Center.
Lois Frankel and Patrick Murphy, the two Democrats hoping to run against West in November, certainly noticed.

Frankel, the former West Palm Beach mayor, started a chain letter on her election web site that residents can sign. It says:
Mr. West –
Let me be the first to tell you that Democrats aren’t going anywhere. Intolerance and immature outbursts don’t have a place in civilized government. Telling people you disagree with to “get the hell out of the United States of America” doesn’t have a place in our society.
Mr. West: We aren’t going anywhere! You and your Tea Party buddies might try to intimidate us with your talk of violence and tell us to get the hell out of the country. But we are not scared of your tactics and are ready for a fight this fall.

In a letter seeking donations, Murphy writes:
I am tired of this man’s rants against patriotic Americans.
I am tired of Allen West demonizing progressives in an obvious attempt to raise more money from his Tea Party base.
Progressives gave our country the New Deal and rebuilt this country after the Great Depression. They gave us Social Security and Medicare. They gave us the civil rights movement. And under President Obama, they have given millions of us health insurance.
For this, Allen West thinks we should be thrown out of our own country?
Well, I have news for you Allen: I’m staying!
I’m staying to fight for a jobs bill to put people back to work. I’m staying to fight for a woman’s right to choose. I’m staying to fight for gay marriage. I’m staying to protect prescription drug coverage, Social Security, and Medicare.
And most importantly, I’m staying to defeat you Mr. West.
This November, we need to defeat West and with your help I know we can.

This is typical of Democrats, demeaning those who serve in the military. It’s their lack of character to attack. It started with the Vietnam Vets, Code Pink and cindy Sheehan-which the democrat leaning press- gave nearly daily coverage.
Democrats have and continue to attack veterans. Shame on them.
