House kills Dem resolution condemning West for Goebbels remark
by George Bennett | December 20th, 2011
The GOP-controlled U.S. House of Representatives voted 231-188 this afternoon to table a Democratic resolution condemning U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Plantation, for saying last week that Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels would be “very proud of the Democrat Party, because they have an incredible propaganda machine.”
The procedural vote went largely along party lines, with local Democratic Reps. Ted Deutch of Boca Raton and Alcee Hastings of Miramar voting against tabling the measure.
West and Rep. Tom Rooney, R-Tequesta, were on the prevailing side.
Three Republicans — Reps. Robert Dold and Timothy Johnson of Illinois and Walter Jones of North Carolina — voted with Democrats against the motion to table.

It’s starting . . .
Dear Patriot,
I only have a moment, but I wanted to update you on what is happening and why we are still in session on Capitol Hill.
As you have heard, there is a standoff now regarding the extension of the payroll tax cut. U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and their friends in the Obama Administration want to once again “kick the can down the road” and only extend the cut for two months.
At the same time, like a Christmas tree, they’ve added things like weakening unemployment insurance reforms and curbs on President Barack Obama’s unconstitutional health care law.
My colleagues in the House of Representatives and I are standing strong. But some “Leaders” are too ready to compromise and want to play the “go along to get along” Washington, D.C. game.
I’ll never compromise my principles for political gain.
The people of Florida’s 22nd Congressional District didn’t send me to Washington, D.C just to follow the herd and behave. They wanted a strong voice — our voice – in the Halls of Congress speaking up for real reform and common sense conservative values.
And we won’t let them down.
My outspoken character has made me a lot of enemies in the establishment in Washington, D.C. The Democrats take every opportunity to ridicule our conservative army and its beliefs.
But as I have written before, I will stand and fight and we will win, thanks to friends like you.
Please support our conservative army by making a special year-end contribution of $25 or more to my re-election campaign.
Steadfast and Loyal,
Congressman Allen B. West (R-FL)
Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army, Retired

It’s good to see 3 republicans showed some integrity.
West is a scumbag.

Talk is so cheap west. What have you done for us in florida?

Perhaps nobody ever told him if he has nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. We need to remind these people that even though they were elected being in one party, they are there to represent all the people, not just those who belong to their party or gave them donations. As for his comment, Representative West, you owe the public an apology for your poor judgment. Your comment, in my opinion, was not only offensive to me as a Jew, but as an American who you are supposed to represent.

And so it goes, did you expect anything different? Typical tea party trash.
December 20th, 2011 at 5:55 pm
West is right, why does the Post do a story on a tabled resolution with a smear headline?
My vote for West the brave patriot. Frankel and Klein would have played in Goebbels orchestra.

Steadfast and Loyal Allen West may be, but, correct and constructive is a challenge he cannot measure up to.
Time to retire him and let him collect his government pensions.
He deserves it.

@Damien, if every politician (especially Lois Frankel and Nancy Pelosi) followed the “if you don’t have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all” rule, you would never hear a word from them. And that is the honest truth, my dear blinded liberal fanatic.

The intense pro-socialist and anti-capitalist scams by Zero and his (well-funded-with-billions-in-stolen-monies) corrupt America-wrecking crew is starting.
It shall only get dirtier and worse and worse as the election year progresses.
Toward the majority of us who cherish traditional American values like Fiscal Responsibility . . . Limited Government . . . Free Markets and so on, they will try to overwhelm with every sleazy psychological trick in the book and incessantly work at trying to diminish the size of our majority successful outrage, negate our dominant positive thinking, . . . and on and on and on.
The answer is . . . we simply want a positive change we know from proven academics and successful history works.
Please remember, dear friends, they are the historically observed losers — with and who have to defend Zero and his abysmal performance these last few years.
Remember also — he is such an easy Total-Failure target.
We just have to remember to keep from getting distracted and focus on the main target.
Like swatting flies off a screen.
Please join the team!
Can’t wait for this next election to start!

@Same Ole, Same Ole
How does it feel to be a B*tch for the rich. Lips raw?
You might be a little more convincing if you ever learn how to form a proper sentence. By now everyone who reads these blogs knows what a lying POS you are. You probably are doing more to hurt the GOP’s cause than help it. Keep up the good work and stock up on tissue. You only have 11 months left then all the crying begins.
OBAMA/BIDEN 2012 4 MORE YEARS!!!!

Dear Patriot,
I only have a moment, but I wanted to update you on what is happening and why we are still in session on Capitol Hill.
1. The Jews are our destruction. They started this war and direct it. They want to destroy the German Reich and our people. This plan
must be blocked.
2. There are no distinctions between Jews. Each Jew is a sworn enemy of the German people. If he does not make his hostility plain, it is
only from cowardice and slyness, not because he loves us.
3. The Jews are to blame for each German soldier who falls in this war. They have him on their conscience, and must also pay for it.
4. If someone wears the Jewish star, he is an enemy of the people. Anyone who deals with him is the same as a Jew and must be treated
accordingly. He earns the contempt of the entire people, for he is a craven coward who leaves them in the lurch to stand by the enemy.
5. The Jews enjoy the protection of our enemies. That is all the proof we need to show how harmful they are for our people.
6. The Jews are the enemy’s agents among us. He who stands by them aids the enemy.
7. The Jews have no right to claim equality with us. If they wish to speak on the streets, in lines outside shops or in public transportation,
they should be ignored, not only because their are simply wrong, but because they are Jews who have no right to a voice in the
community.
8. If the Jews appeal to your sentimentality, realize that they are hoping for your forgetfulness, and let them know that you see through
them and hold them in contempt.
9. A decent enemy will deserve our generosity after we have won. The Jew however is not a decent enemy, though he tries to seem so.
10. The Jews are responsible for the war. The treatment they receive from us is hardly unjust. They have deserved it all.

Just another vulgarity from a member of the “Family Values” party.
So West puts up his own post begging for money.
Typical ni$%er.

Colonel West- I believe that the Democrats offered a resolution which would include extending the cuts for 1 year, but some people (Republicans and Tea party) voted it down. Now you want it again. You must be consistent.
