Senate prez booted off conservative talk show
by Dara Kam | June 1st, 2011Senate President Mike Haridopolos is the big cheese in his chamber but apparently not so much on conservative talk show host Ray Junior‘s turf.
Junior cut short a telephone interview with Haridopolos, who is running for U.S. Senate in what could be a brutal GOP primary, because the Merritt Island Republican refused to answer whether he would vote for U.S. House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan’s budget if elected.
As he did with The Palm Beach Post’s reporter George Bennett earlier this week, Haridopolos sidestepped questions about how he would vote on Ryan’s controversial spending plan.
Among the non-answers Haridopolos gave: “I’m not in the U.S. Senate but I am in the Florida Senate.”
After repeatedly asking Haridopolos to answer the question, an exasperated Junior wound up the interview.
“Get him off my phone. I don’t want anything to do with this guy. Get rid of him,” he told an aide.

I do agree that many politiicans do this but the GOP since the TeaBaggers come onto the seen have taken it to a new level. Many of them won’t even put themself in a postion to answer any question unless they have one of their own ask the question. Take Angal in AZ and Palin.

At least the didn’t Take the 5th (Amendment) like Gov. P. Rick. If you don’t like what your party is doing, Say So. If you do like what they are doing, say so. If you don’t have an opinion either way on a MAJOR NEWS TOPIC, GO HOME!

Haridopolos needs to have his career brought to an end. Any conservatives out there need to do everything possible to make sure he loses in the primary. We don’t want this guy anywhere near Washington. No on Haridopolos for US Senate.

This was clearly a setup. However, how a candidate responds to a trick like this is telling on how he will respond on the trail. Mike H looked like a lightweight.

Here is the problem, the radio host is obviously supporting Hasner and is biased.
But Mike should answer the question.
I think both candidates are weak and neither will
beat Nelson.
