Read Putnam’s statement after the jump….
Statement from Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam on the 2012 Republican U.S. Senate primary:
“I’m proud to endorse Mike Haridopolos for the United States Senate because I know Mike is a true leader who has proven he will take on the tough issues that face our nation and is the conservative who can win this race. Mike’s conservative leadership has resulted in much needed reforms to government that will pave the way for the entrepreneurs and small business to start hiring again. As a former Congressman and State Legislator, I know that Mike Haridopolos has what it takes to tackle the debt and spending problems in Washington because he has a record of accomplishment in Florida when it comes to balancing budgets and restraining government spending.”

They both are immature.

That’s a shame. I really liked Putnam.

Adam Putnam probably gave this endorsement in exchange for Senate President Haridopolis’ submarining of E-verify and the immgration bill in session.
Looks like Adam Putnam is no longer the conservative candidate for the E.O.G., this was an imprudent move for him and C.F.O. Atwater as well.
Conservatives know Adam Hanser has a solid legislative record and the only man who can beat Bill Nelson in this primary.
