Senate explorer Hasner seeks to cash in on Mack’s decision not to run

by George Bennett | March 28th, 2011

Hasner

Sounding more and more like his Senate exploration will lead to an officially declared Republican candidacy, former state House Majority Leader Adam Hasner of Boca Raton tells potential contributors that he’s the main beneficiary of U.S. Rep. Connie Mack’s decision not to run for Senate in 2012.

We could do a lot worse in the Senate.
Hasner has both feet on the ground and a lot of common sense. He responds to emails and calls and understands the issues. Most importantly, he grasps that the Nation is on a suicide track financially, and will work to stop the coming bond and dollar trainwreck.

  2. Jay Says:

Hometown guy Adam will do some great things, and Mack fans should definitely give him a look, especially if he keeps his pledge to win without special interest money from Washington!

  3. tommo3 Says:

look at the mess in Tallahasse he left us in, great job, total mismanagement.

the only people who won under adam were special interests. the same people who will bankroll his senate campaign

  4. SunnySurfer Says:

exactly, Jay! Adam is such a strong conservative who knows people win elections, not special interest monies! Can’t wait to get on the Hasner team!

  5. Downtown Danny Says:

Check out Mack’s ex-wife – he left her after carrying on an affair with Sonny Bono’s wife – his ex & his 2 kids live in poverty in an apartment in Ft. Lauderdale while he ignores them – anothe example of Republican “Family Values” – then there’s this creep Hasner – read the Palm Beach Sun gossip story this month on all the money she basically stole from Meg Witman to run her campaign for Gov in California into the ground – the last thing we need in the Senate is more phony “conservatives” – like David Vitter – who admitted visiting brothels multiple times during his term (he still serves – the Republicans did nothing to him)while both he and his wife went around bashing Bill Clinton for his sex life. Republican “conservatives” are HYPOCRITES who will balance the budget on the backs of the working poor while spending trillions on illegal wars and killing innocent people and giving corporations massive tax loopholes and breaks that cost our nation trillions more.

  6. Real Conservative Says:

That’s what Hasner is. He’s busy earning our votes, not collecting checks from the special interests, like a true conservative should. Good luck to him!

  7. 2 Republican senators from FL Says:

Adam will be a great candidate and he can beat resoundingly beat Bill Nelson. We need to send men committed to upholding the Founding principles of our nation and to lead fearlessly in D.C. to rein in the debt.
