Sink to host BP claims workshop in Panama City
by Dara Kam | October 5th, 2010Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink’s office is holding a workshop in Panama City tomorrow for Floridians wanting help getting their BP claims paid.
Sink’s staff will be at the Marina Civic Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will meet with individuals and business owners trying to get speedier payments – or any at all – from BP claims czar Ken Feinberg, in charge of doling out the $20 billion Gulf Coast Claims Facility fund.
Sink, the Democrat candidate for governor, has been critical of Feinberg’s claims process and took credit yesterday after the Boston lawyer decided to expand eligibility for claims payments to businesses located far away from where oil washed up on the beach.
She’s also launched a website where Floridians can share their horror tales about navigating the claims process.

Trolling for votes…part cinco+++
IF Sink has all this time on her hands, how about holding a mortgage foreclosure class to instruct homeowners how to deal with her Bank of America…she was responsible for all those NINJA loans BOA washed thru Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac!
Like most politicos, she wants to “hep” the little guy with BP…five months too late!! BP used professional CAT claims facilities to get claim advances in the hands of real claimants within 10 days of the incident!
With Sink and that GOVT Prestender Ken Feinberg they come late to the party…
SO, you made $700 CASH MONEY before the BP rig leak, earned $1,200 working cushy 40 hour weeks with BP…and don’t have to show a Fed Tax Return, W’2′s or even credit the amount BP paid you to get GOVT money??
Ain’t America great?? Did you notice CA NannyState Debit Cards are good in Lanai, Las Vegas, Lantana or Laos??
Please list the top 3 accomplishments of FL CFO Alex Sink…OK, how about guesssing at even 1 insignificant one??

What is interesting is that Sink and McCollum have been ‘helping’ certain people all along with little or no results. Now that Feinberg has appointed his little czarito for Florida (ombudsman) magically people are going to get compensated? It isn’t going to happen. Feinberg is not changing his rules.
Feinberg has been operating this fund along a very structured process all along, and nothing that has happened during the time, is a deviation from his plan. Taking credit for getting Feinberg to extend proximity is hollow, as it was his plan all along. He will do it again also depending on how much he starts shelling out in the final settlement process.

Alex Sink hasn’t done anything. All she and her husband, Bill McBride want is political office.
Bill ALSO ran for FL governor and lost. Ditto, Alex.

BP is about to launch its new website BPCares.com. The decision to go ahead with the rebranding of the oil giant was one of the first goals for the new Board.
In a secretly leaked memo, insiders painted a picture in which BP will begin to restore its image with the BPCares website and then pivot towards Amoco for complete salvation from the oil spill.
The domains that BP now owns are:
BPCares.com
BPCares.net
BPCares.org
BPCares.info
BPCares.us
BPCares.biz
The new BPCares website will be up soon.
