Crist boards the People’s Express
by Jane Musgrave | October 27th, 2010Naming his final campaign swing in the U.S. Senate race after a long-gone cut-rate airline, Gov. Charlie Crist will travel the state by bus this weekend on the People’s Express.
The bus tour will begin with pancakes in Panama City and end up near his hometown in St. Pete Beach. In between he will travel from Pensacola to Tallahassee to Jacksonville to Miami to Fort Myers. The independent candidate, who is facing GOP candidate Marco Rubio and Democrat Kendrick Meek, plans to end Saturday and begin Sunday in West Palm Beach with a Sunday stop also planned in Riviera Beach. Details of his Saturday and Sunday stops were not available.

Please just go away. Can you have more of a lame name of a tour?

It would have been better to name it the “Goodbye Choo Choo CharIE Express”
Thank God and Greyhound he’s gone!

“CHARLIE THE INCONSISTENT” WILL PROBABLY CHANGE HIS POSITION ON EVERY ISSUE BASED ON WHICH WAY THE WIND BLOWS AT EACH STOP.HE NAMED HIS TOUR VERY APPROPRIATELY, AS HIS POLITICAL CAREER WILL END THE SAME WAY AS THE AIRLINE. BOTH ARE GONERS AND GOOD FOR THE PEOPLE WHO WERE FOOLED BY BOTH OF THEM.
WHEN IS CHARLIE GONNA FESS UP AND COME OUT OF THE CLOSET??IS HE STILL ?MARRIED? WHERE IS SHE???NEVER TO BE SEEN AGAIN????

Bye, bye Charlie. Poetic you are taking the bus, because come January that will be your only mode of transportation. Unless your wife buys you a car ! Eighteen months from now she will have dumped you anyway …..loser!

Choo Choo this name for your bus tour is a laugh. People Express. What a hypocrit you really are-what a loser. You never were for the people of Florida with your flip flops-take your
People Express and shove it where the sun don’t shine. You are not going to win-if anything you will be looking for a job. Floridians want you out of politics and it can’t come soon enough.

If found it humours that Slick Charlies ad complaining about the “Republican Right Wing” all of whom he put in power. Does anyone believe this clown would be saying this had he had a chance to win the Republican primary. Crist’s problem is that he has backstabbed once too often and the people are sick of him and his hypocrisy and lies.

Joel G ~ Funny you should mention that closet thingy. You know me and Charlie had a thing going until that kid that was working on the Katherine Harris campaign with us come along. That sucker could suck a tennis ball through a fifty foot water hose. I ain’t seen charlie since. But I do appreciate him fixing my probation for me for all that money I stole from the Florida Funeral Directors Assn. After all what are friends for. You never know, if charlie can’t get his dancing job back at the Green Iguana maybe he’s just come and stay with me over here in hog county.

Wow, have you seen all those sheriffs endorsing Alex Sink?
Ya know why?
Cause Alex Sink has promised the police union that she will not implement anything that require the police to contribute to THEIR OWN PENSIONS!
Alex Sink will continue to let Florida taxpayers pay every single, solitary penny of the police pensions.
That’s why they are endorsing Sink.
SINK, Sink.

Like the McCain Express…just proving again that you are a Sarah Palin supporter..you and Sachs who all gave money to Bush over the years.
Get the hell out of our party and take Wexler, Deutch, Klein, Aaronson, Aburzzo with you..scumbag

I am a retired Deputy Sheriff. I’ll be the first to admit even 20-30 years ago 75-80% of my co-harts were to lazy to work and too scared to steal! While the more modern ones are still to lazy to work they are unfortunately no longer to scared to steal. Combined these are the only reasons they would succumb to a union. Good honest workers don’t need a union.
Alex Sink has given millions of FRS funds to her BOA friends. $266 million on one deal alone (Peter Cooper Village NYC) was a total loss. This is our retirment money! The PBA, FOP, Seiu and other unions has managed to convince these mentally challenged union indentured servants that Alex Sink is the saver of all things wonderful! The truth of course is 180 degrees due south!

Will they have a map on the bus, or is Charlie just going to make up his mind on where he’s going as he goes along?Does he have a game plan, or is he just going to call “audibles” along the way?

If you don’t change your mind every now and then, maybe you’re too closed minded.
Good for you, Charlie. You didn’t let your party boss you around on decisions that you knew were important and you vetoed HORRIBLE legislation.
I’m voting for you because you might actually be a politician that LISTENS to the people and works for the PEOPLE instead of yourself and your own party.
Woo hoo!
I’m voting for someone who will reach across the aisle.
“Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am- stuck in the middle with you.”
