No more rearranging letters; Crist slams both Meek and Rubio in new ad
by George Bennett | September 24th, 2010Enough Sesame Street-style letter rearrangement and strolling on the beach for independent Senate candidate Charlie Crist. His new ad slams the ethics of Democratic rival Kendrick Meek and Republican Marco Rubio and says both partisan candidates are “what we don’t need in Washington.”
The ad was first sent to journalists by Meek’s campaign, which decried it as a “smear right out of the Republican playbook.” Crist’s camp says it plans to release the ad later this morning.
Meek is hit for seeking federal money for a project pushed by a Miami developer who hired Meek’s mother as a consultant and provided her with a Cadillac Escalade. The developer was later indicted. Meek, who frequently addressed the issue during his Democratic primary against Jeff Greene, says he didn’t know about the developer’s links to his mother.
Rubio is blasted for his use of a Republican Party of Florida credit card for personal expenses, which Rubio said he paid out of his own pocket. The ad cites published reports — denied by Rubio — that the IRS is investigating the matter.

Charlie Crist can not be depended on.
He’s a flip flopper. We need stability at this point. Crist does not offer that.
That’s his whole problem.

Crist is the best of the three.

t- baggers think that changing your mind after thoughtful consideration is flip flopping.. If you say the same thing on Thursday that you said on Tuesday regardless of what happened on Wednesday, you must be an idiot..it’s obvious that you all are being manipulated with two or three word sound bites because that reading stuff is way over rated

Crist is Florida’s hope for a better future!! With him in Washington, we will be well represented by someone who truly believes in the people before the politics. He has and will stand-up for what is best for Florida!
Remember to vote line 9!!!

Charlie–honest? What a joke. He lied about running as an independent. Said he wouldn’t. Then he in his narcissim figured out he was going to get a country a__whipping so he bolted. Not one conviction or value in his body. Go with Meek or Rubio. Somthing is better than empty suit Charlie and his hot air.

Rubio is a nobody and a JEB wanna be!
Rubio has done nothing positive for for Florida when he was in Tallahassee and only wants to get in office for selfish reasons.
Notice none of his ads says what he has accomplished but just negative campaigning…….
Meek or Crist are the better choices!!

Crist is the best at being the most desperate.
Go back to Maryland with Wexler.
Either there or jail.

Who initiated the call that prompted the IRS investigation? Is there a repayment arrangement? Was there an exchange of money between Mr. Rubio and the RNC? If so, then Mr. Rubio lied when he stated that he paid personal expenses out of his own pocket.

Just wondering. Why don’t RINO”s just switch parties instead of running as
“Independents”? When their original constituency (the Faux-Palin-Beck-Obama-izza-Commie party) rejects them, they turn up as spoilers for the Democrats.
Crist, as governor, has been competent and, with Democrat Wexler’s endorsement will be getting the votes of many Dems and some Repubs who don’t want Rubio the t-partier.
Until he started campaigning in the primary, I and a lot of others, never heard of Kendrick Meek. So far, his main qualifications seem to be that he is a Democrat and a black person;ipso facto, those who decide not to vote
for him. are racists. Let’s see what kind of a case Biden, etal, can make for Meek, the unknown.
Still thinking.
