Allen West appears in Kansas to show support for ‘Leavenworth 10′
by George Bennett | September 5th, 2010South Florida Republican congressional candidate Allen West was in Kansas on Saturday to speak at a rally for the “Leavenworth 10″ — soldiers and Marines whose families say they were unjustly convicted by military courts for killing Iraqis during the war there.
“We’ve got to get away from political correctness on the battlefield,” West said in an interview afterward (see video clip above).
Here’s an Associated Press story written in advance of Saturday’s rally.
West is a decorated Iraq war veteran whose own U.S. Army career ended in controversy. As a battalion commander in 2003, Lt. Col. West supervised the interrogation of an Iraqi police officer suspected of having information about an assassination plot against West. West fired a pistol near the man’s head to get him to talk. After a military hearing, he was fined $5,000 and allowed to retire with a full pension.
“I know the method I used was not right, but I wanted to take care of my soldiers,” West said at the time.
West’s campaign last month released a video discussing the 2003 incident.

Allen West is concerned with protecting his soldiers and Americans. He is not concerned with political correctness…..God Bless Him !!!
Our society is crumbling because we are catering to all the elements out there who mean us harm.
This Administration views patriots and Americans as the enemy and the Black Panthers, illegals, Muslims, radical Islamists,Palestinians, ACORN etc as their friends…
Mr West could be here campaigning but he chose to be there… He sticks by his convictions!
We cannot jeopardize our safety because someone elses feelings may get hurt.

He did the right thing!! Although Proud Americans spelling was off! I agree! We choose to prosecute the very people who put thier lives on the line for our freedom! Then when they do whats needs to be done to preserve our way of life, we set rules of war!! Bet the other countries do nothing when our great men and women are treated wrong! You know! Free All American War Criminals! I barely escaped 11 years in Leavenworth. We do not have to fight with honor, integrity, or by any code or laws. I broke many laws during my service and got away with it, so should these soldiers.

Allen West stands up for convicted war criminals much like himself. Allen West defends the actions of one soldier Michael Behenna involved in a deliberate assignation of a civilian he was ordered to release.

So South Florida should elect a leader who would blatantly bash Islam and Arabs, and believes it is ok to torture and kill civilians. How is this acceptable? West cares not that support of political leaders who preach this hate and violence endangers our community, either because he is not a resident of Congressional District 22, or because he is just a short term resident of South Florida. Oh yeah I guess it could be because he is just a bad person.

First of all remember the “post” is a liberal fish wrapper at best.
Lt.Col. Allen West will get my vote because he supports Israel far better than Klein who is in Husseins camp at all times. When Pelosi says jump Klein will be at her side asking how high.
This country cannot endure the likes of Pelosi,Hussein,Reid et al for much longer.
Vote republican and get our country back…especially worrisome to the Jews in this country is Husseins support of all Islam and its tenets. How an American Jew can vote for Klein is beyond me.

West was forced to retire from the Army and fined $5,000 after he admitted to apprehending an Iraqi policeman he suspected of planning an ambush, watching as his troops beat him, and then firing a gunshot by the Iraqi’s head in order to scare him into divulging information. West said the decision saved lives by preventing an ambush. But no plot was ever discovered and the policeman in question later told The New York Times that he had no knowledge of any attacks.

Instead of shooting him, Col. West madehim give-up his terrorist cell, and attacks on US Trooper in Col. West’s AO we completely shutdown. He them turned the terrorist over to the Iraqis, who I am sure accord the sumbag traitor all the niceties of the Geneva Convention!

The only fighting you have done is in your mind in the basement of your mother’s house because you can’t even get a job. You have no concept of “duty, honor, country” much less of integrity. Any military officer isn’t worth spit who doesn’t put mission and the safety of his troops foremost in his action. Lt. Col. Allen West was a GREAT military officer, who sacrificed his career in order to fulfill the responsibility as an officer in combat.

Only a fool (or the NY Times) would take the word of a traitor terrorist of that of decorated American Officer. BTW, if the traitor Iraqi had nothing to due with the many attacks on US Troops in Col. West’s AO, why did such attacks cease after the terrorist confessed and turned in his fellow terrorist?

It’s time to restore honor and dignity to Washington by voting in another tax cheat! The liberal gestapo’s like tactics made him too distraught to pay the debts he owed. The PB Post is nothing but a snippy little chihuaha nipping that the heals of LTC West. The Post only endorses democrats. The paper is the engine that keeps democrats alive in this county.
Vote out ALL democrats in 2010. We can’t go on with the spending and the taxing that will be coming.
Break the contracts with the large groups that suck the lifeblood from citizens.
They retire with near full salaries and take hundreds of thousands in a retirement lump sum.

You are completely right! The insidious liberals are nothing but a bunch suck butt fools! We need to lower our spending by preventing the poverty pimps from from giving handouts and enabling the 21st century plantation. We must also abolish the Department of Education, Department of Energy, and the IRS. Once LTC West is in the Oval Office, this constitutional republic will again be operating with a budget surplus, like we were when President Clinton left office.
Speaking of our neighbors, I love living in the same community as Colonel West. Well actually I live in an adjacent community, I happen to live in Florida’s 22nd congressional district. Nevertheless, as a good neighbor should, the patriotic, personally-responsible, and heroic West is always sure to settle each and every lien filed against his home by listening to the expert advice of his wife who is a PhD and a financial planner (I need to hire her to do my finances).
The narcissism of people to claim that they practice personal responsible yet fail to settle their liens truly incenses me — almost as much as those “coexist” bumper stickers. The gall of such individuals illustrates their lack of extreme devotion to this great nation in which we live. Allen West on the other hand has been able to settle multiple liens!
