Last-minute Palin robo-calls for Bondi in GOP attorney general primary
by Dara Kam | August 23rd, 2010
The day before Tuesday’s primary election, political newcomer Pam Bondi brought out the big guns: a robo-call recorded by conservative darling Sarah Palin.
The “Mama Grizzly” calls Bondi “a real prosecutor and a true conservative” who is “sharp, selfless and ready to stand for you” in the call released today.
Bondi was a Democrat for 16 years before switching to the GOP a decade ago.
Listen to Palin tout “my friend Pam Bondi.”
Maybe Bondi, who’s in a race too close to call against Holly Benson and Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp, can help Palin as well.
Palin’s endorsees, mainly tea party favorites or political outsider’s like Bondi, have not fared well in primaries throughout the country thus far.

There is no candidate more qualified than Holly Benson. She is intelligent, experienced, and conservative. She may not win, but it will be Florida’s loss.

Palin may not “win” with each of her endorsements, but the public does, since the attention furthers competition between candidates. If someone is unopposed in a primary, there is no discussion of the issues.

Holly Benson is the only candidate in the race for Florida Attorney General with experience leading a large state agency, and she has led TWO! Her experience with health care, both in the Florida House and as Secretary of the Agency for Health Care Administration, provides a great foundation for Holly to fight Obamacare. Holly has a record of reducing bureaucratic red tape at the DBPR, and has vowed to do the same as Attorney General. She is the Pro-Business Candidate.

The primaries are about competition for those candidates to square off in November. The American people win picking candidates that best represent and support American conservative values and principals that Sarah Palin believes in.
