MIAMI — Republican governor candidate Rick Scott, star of more than $20 million worth of small-screen ads since April, is going out in public on a six-day bus tour that began this morning.

Scott’s wife and mother are on the bus. So is Donna Arduin, budget director for former Gov. Jeb Bush and a key architect of Scott’s “7 steps for 700,000 jobs in 7 years” plan. GOP primary rival Bill McCollum’s camp called some of the ideas borrowed and others “silly” or “unrealistic.”

Read about it here.

Here’s the Scott campaign’s presentation of the plan.

  1. Go RICK SCOTT Says:

Way to go RICK SCOTT! kissing them babies and looking these folks face to face and telling them the truth! Thats what they have been missing since Florida governemt has been consumed by this culture of corruption! Lord knows we have not had a governor in years! Where’s CharLIE? Even if he showed up it would only be for a photo-op! Has Crist ever failed to turn on a friend? Not according to Bruce Carlton Jordan his first love apawned! CharLIE will turn on his moma if it gets him what he wants!

  2. so what Says:

    Erronious picture of the bus.

    It’s actually short and yellow.
    Bike helmets for all!!!

  3. Andres Gilbar Says:

“I’m Rick Scott and I paid for this ad with money I stole from Medicare.”

  4. Dune Dawg Says:

Typical of the PBP Marxist propaganda…instead of sharing any information about Scott’s plan, PBP only shares another politico’s criticizm denouncing same……

NOW, IF Meek had ANY plans…that would be page 1 “news”??

Scott was not questioned, investigated nor considered a party of interest in any Medicare “fraud”!! Scott resigned as his board preferred settling rather than rebut Clintonian retribution for getting its BILLARY plan killed…

The common number of $100 Billion Waste, Fraud and Abuse has little to do with thousands of pages of Clinton new Medicare regs no one could decypher…Mayo Clinic “settled” the “fraud allegations” brought against all hospital business groups for not supporting Clinton’s plan.

Meantime every single penny of that $100 Billion WFA is initiated by a doctor choosing to treat, lab, clinic, prescribe, hospitalize, etc. NOT one penny has been cut by anything Clinton nor the current Democrat fiasco controls — because the majority of those doctors are their campaign contributors!!

As usual, you will here no facts about anything HealthCare in this rag!!

  5. RealAngst Says:

Sorry Mr. Scott. How can I trust you with our state budget and your promises to do all these wonderful things, when you PROFITED from the money that was STOLEN from Floridians in the first damn place!

  6. McCollum Culture Of Corruption Says:

Real Floridians with brains can see right throught this McCollum attack on RICK SCOTT about the medicare! McCollum has nothing but a 30 year history of political corruption padding the pockets of his already rich friends like (Iranian born) Mori Hosseini and Penny Pritzker. His intervention on their behalves in the Stanaki land deal and the Orlando Naval Base deals made these friends millions right out of the pockets of we the taxpayers! McCollum defended RICK SCOTT against the Clinton administration. Click here to see what he had to say before he changed his mind! Charlie McCollum changing his mind like honest people change their drawers!

  8. State Leo Says:

The state of Florida ranks 50th in the nation as to the pay and number of state employs in relation to the number of residents. Scott is pushing to lay off/fire employs who have worked for the past 4 to 5 years without a raise, except for $1,000, one time, bonus. These employs, not the Governor nor legislators keep the state running and safe, but Scott wishes attacks these Americans and place a fear of losing their jobs upon them, which will add to the unemployment rate! This will include dismissing State Troopers, and Agents from Insurance, Beverage, and FDLE. Maybe that’s why Scot wants to be Governor to remove people who will investigate Fraud. Scott like Jeb Bush has no notion as to the real work, and will destroy the state if elected. You have to ask yourself why this man, wants to be governor, he’s not known to give anything freely.
