Rick Scott for City Council?
by Michael C. Bender | July 7th, 2010Attorney General Bill McCollum, a Republican running for governor, said today that someone with no political experience might be better suited for city council than the governor’s office.
Wonder what Jeb Bush might have to say about that…
Anyway, the line was a shot at McCollum’s GOP primary rival, Rick Scott. Scott is running for his first political office and, predictably, spins the experience question a bit different. A former CEO of Columbia/HCA, who resigned amid a Medicare fraud investigation that cost his company $1.7 billion in fines, says the state needs a fresh face to pull it out of an economic funk.
“Of all the ridiculous things Bill McCollum has said about Rick Scott the last few weeks, this attack we welcome,” Scott spokesman Joe Kildea said. “Career politicians are not the solution to our problems as great Governors such as Ronald Reagan have shown us. Looks like it’s Bill McCollum making the rookie mistakes.”

Lets see, I can think of three Governors right off the top of my head who makes this statement ludicrous.
I will start with Ronald Reagan, He had no political experience and need I mention he went on to be the best President in my lifetime. (In my humble opinion.)
Next, I will suggest George W. Bush, elected governor of Texas, he had no previous political experience. Again, do I need to mention he was subsequently elected President of the United States for two terms! That’s twice the length of his father’s term!
Then, speaking of Bush, do I need to mention Jeb Bush, twice elected governor of Florida had no previous political experience.
Silly Billy, have you just run out of anythng else to say? I mean over the years you have really said and done some stupid things, but this one comes front and center. It’s like if Thraser can’t trash you enought with is stupid don’t pick on Billy with lies blasted out RPOF emails, you are just going to finish the job yourself! Good Work Billy! You win the I am the stupidest candidate of the week contest!

Really? You need to insult and demean every city council, commission member? Really? You are out of touch, Bill.
All the stress of the ROPF situation got you flustered? You may want to think about building yourself up instead of insulting so many.

Billy, what have you ever said that was a promise you kept? What have you ever done? Cover up your corruption and insider trading! Get some super deals for your friends Mori Hossein and Penny Pritzker for sure! Give $250 million Florida tax dollars to your Peter Cooper investor friends to lose! NJow to mention all those raises you gave yourself and friends! Actually if you hadn’t been so conservative and worked so hard for us, we would be million and millions of tax dollars to the good right now!
But, for the life of me screwing with Bill Clinton is your largest life accomplishment and I can’t think of one thing you have ever said that makes

McCollum has been too well trained by Crist and cronies. He is becomming a flip-flopping expert! Last week he was on TV blasting his opponent RICK SCOTT for being the mastermind of the greatest medicare fraud ever perpertuated against that system. Now he stands before members of the Capital City Republican Club and lauds RICK SCOTT’S rookie status as a politician.
He can’t have both! If he thinks it doesn’t take expert human interaction skills (aka politics) today to run large corporations he’s had those Howdy Doody strings attached way too long!
GO RICK SCOTT! YOU’VE GOT ‘EM SCARED AND RUNNING! “I think it’s that Let’s Get To Work phrase that scares them the most!

Rick Scott is like Obama – an inexperienced candidate who has a great message. Florida cannot afford to make the same mistake the nation made two years ago. We need an experienced, steady hand to see us through the economic chaos we are suffering through because the nation fell for a catchy slogan. “Let’s Get to Work” is just as meaningless as “Yes We Can”.

RICK SCOTT is about as far from being Obammy as Ronald Reagan was from being
Jimmy Earl Carter! I personally heard Ms Lillian Carter say the only reason Jimmy got to be president was because he didn’t have sense enought to run the family gas station. (Billy done that! got his name of Billy’s Beer, What did Jimmy get his name on?) Now one thing I can think of except that library they all get, and Jimmy can’t read! All their papers were used in the outhouse.

Experience from career politicians is what has gotten us in the hot water we’re in as a country. Sit down, Bill.
Let us get to work.

Stupid remark by McCollum. I am voting for him BUT, Bill, GIVE ME A BREAK! KEEP MAKING THOSE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL REMARKS AND YOU WILL BE TOAST FOR SURE.
