Klein exaggerates fundraising claim against West
by Michael C. Bender | July 1st, 2010That’s the conclusion from our friends at PolitiFact Florida:
Klein’s fundraising e-mail said: “West has raised $2 million from those that would leave our beaches in ruins, end Social Security and Medicare and give corporations free reign.” The donors the Klein campaign cited added up to about $25,000 — only a sliver of his $2 million campaign. The West campaign could cherrypick too and likely find negative headlines about some of Klein’s donors — including BP in previous election cycles. But we don’t think that we can draw conclusions about all of Klein’s donors based on his BP donations. Similarily, there is no way Klein would know the viewpoints of all of West’s donors unless he researched all of their views on these topics — an impossible endeavor. We rate this claim False.

Allen West is an angry and violent man. He should NOT be elected to represent us. He is radical and makes a mockery of the term diplomatic. He would dump oil on our shores himself is that meant more power for him.
DON’T GO WEST!

The #1 post using the name West is typical of the left. Slinging lies and hoping some will stick. LTC West is an honorable man and would be a fine representative for Florida.
He’s radical???? No, he’s a patriot.

Big Arch…more like a CONVICT like Ollie North. How odd that you would call him a patriot when he is anything but.

Doesn’t anybody remember all the money that Congressman Klein raised from the financial industry in New York City during his last election? Coupled with his votes to transfer the operating capital of the United States to those same firms, his claim of inpropriety in fundraising stinks like a month old fish.
