Florida Right to Life splits endorsement in Republican gubernatorial primary
by Michael C. Bender | July 2nd, 2010Florida Right to Life’s political action committee gave Rick Scott and Bill McCollum, the two Republicans battling for their party’s gubernatorial nomination, an “A” rating.
The Orlando-based group did take sides in some primaries, choosing to back Republican Jeff Kottkamp over Pam Bondi and Holly Benson in the crowded GOP attorney general race and Ellyn Bogdanoff her race against fellow Republican Carl Domino for the Palm Beach County-based state Senate seat currently held by Jeff Atwater.
The group did not endorse a candidate in the county’s other closely watched Senate race, which includes Republicans Sharon Merchant and Lizbeth Benaquisto, or any of the county’s competitive state House races.

The pollsters called me last night asking if I was voting for McCollum or Scott. Neither, I said. They both stink. Lois Frankel for Guv!

@Poopy Pants, did you put a clothespin on your nose when you said Frankel?

No way am I ever going to support Jeff Kottkamp. He was a do nothing state legislator and Lt. Governor.

Sir,
The only issue I care about today is the forgotten tax-payer. The lone citizen is overburdened by regulations and massive bureaucracies that are too large for any single person to oppose.
The government has now become the largest lobby in Washington. Who can protect us from it? It is too powerful to challenge, and it has an immense purse. Unless we begin to dismantle this monstrous leviathan, our individual freedom is lost. J. DePorre

We know why Bill McCollum received an “A”, because we have proof of his pro-life position based upon his voting record.
However, I would like to know why Rick Scott received an “A”. What documentation do we have that Rick Scott ever did anything for the pro-life movement. I’ve been involved for roughly 38 years, and neither I nor anyone I know from the pro-life community in the state of Florida, has ever heard of Rick Scott until he decided to run for Governor.
What has he done? Has he ever contributed to Florida Right to Life?
