Rubio stuck in primary mode?
by Michael C. Bender | June 25th, 2010Pollster.com contributor Kristen Soltis also says the oil spill has helped Gov. Charlie Crist in the U.S. Senate polls by making him look like a leader. From her analysis:
… Marco Rubio has struggled to pivot out of primary mode and into a general. The shift from running as “the true conservative” to a general election candidate will not be an easy one, and it becomes more and more critical with each tough poll that the Rubio campaign make that transition and begin to build his case to an audience beyond Tea Parties and local GOP groups.
There are a number of things going in Crist’s favor – but don’t count Rubio out. Five months is an eternity in politics. Looking at the recent polls and exit polling data going back to 1994, there are a variety of factors that will keep this race interesting through November.

Rubio has my vote.
Don’t want the billionaire Jeff Greene another obnoxious Alan Grayson like billionaire representing the state of Florida
Greene seeks notoriety. He had Mike Tyson as his best man, furnishes housing for Heidi Fleiss and Greene MADE HIS BILLIONAIRE on the backs of those who LOST their homes.
NO TO GREENE.
LEt’s not let a Californian come to Florida and BUY his way to power.

Rubio is a clown. The only thing Dick Farrel of WPBR has right. Why anyone would vote for this guy is beyond me. I just hope all of his misdeeds are exposed before the election. He is soft on taxes, immigration is a vacislation of epic proportions and he simply isnt credible.

So far, Crist has been picking up Democratic votes, because of Meek’s weakness. Crist’s greatest threat is Jeff Greene winning the Democratic Primary. Many independent voters find Meek too liberal, yet might vote for a guy like Greene in a general election.

Americans respond by describing themselves:
42% are Conservatives.
35% are Moderates.
20% are Liberals.
3% remain Clueless…
The Moderates are returning to sanity and that is why the overwhelming majority now think America is on the wrong path — to bankrupt, welfare, state-controlled Communism!!!

Rubio is endorsed by Tom Feeney of the Abramof scandal, and Dick Cheney. Dream team!

It’s hard to believe that Crist is doing so well in the polls in spite of his constant pandering, grandstanding, and flip flopping all over the place. Can’t Floridians see through him. He is such a phony.
It will be a real shame if Democrats dump Meek to support Crist, but news reports all over say Crist is seeking their help, and they are giving it because they don’t want Jeff Green in there. What drama.
Politics and politicians (especially Crist) suck. They are ruining our country, and if Crist is elected, he will be another nail in our coffin – helping ruin the rest of the US like he is ruining Florida.
Dear Lord, help us.

Crist is a good guy. Rubio is too extreme and can’t escape his positions or dumb statements. {yes I want to dismantle social security…more offshore drilling please} Crist will trounce him in the general.

Unless and until Rubio comes clean and completely lays out the facts behind the misappropriation of GOP credit cards, and other alleged misdeeds, I just can’t see how anyone can be taking his candidacy seriously.
The last time we were asked to vote on someone who was annointed by the GOP with no questions asked, we got George Bush……and we just cannot afford to be that foolish again……especially when you consider the high stakes game we are all currently playing.

And you got these figures from where OBIDOUCHEBAG? 42% are Conservative? You must be high you idiot. Conservatives are in the low 20′s. Good try my racist ill informed nitwit friend. Good luck with your party. They need morons like you. And next time post a link to back up that crap you constantly spew. Numbers don’t mean a thing unless you can back them up. Which you never can.

Here’s one for you. I would think twice and read up on the articles about Jeff Greene’s businesses in Tennessee that he has not been paying rent on or property taxes. So far 12 stores in East Tennessee have been closed an jobs have been lost thanks to this man.Several employees are now waiting on seperation notices so we can collect unemployment. He bought Appco Convenience Stores out of bankruptcy last Sept. 2009 and promised to make the stores better an back up an running like before. These are Jeff Greene’s words….Creating jobs is priority #1. We need to turn our economy around, get people back to work and strengthen our middle class. We need to bring back and create jobs right here in Florida. Our economy needs a bold, diverse set of policies that stimulate the economy, encourage hiring, facilitate small business growth and development, and strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit that has made this country great and made us a beacon for the world. Instead I guess running for senate an lying some more is more important then making sure his employees still have jobs. If this man is willing to let his stores go back into bankruptcy again through Sunshine Energy then what makes you think by putting this man in the Florida Senate would be any better. I was born an raised in Florida an was really excited when I found out that he had bought our stores until now and the man is not even a true Floridian. He is just out for himself. Come on the man is a billionaire. He was in Forbes magazine last year showing he is worth 1.25 BILLION dollars. In order to have a profitable business that was bought out of bankruptcy for 6.25 million dollars you have to put the money into it an keep the utilities, rent and all bills paid. These Stores used to be very profitable until they fell into the wrong hands once again. I am just saying do some research on this man an you will be surprised an maybe think twice about voting this man into Senate. For starters go to http://www.johnsoncityPress.com and in the search box type Appco and read the articles.

Crist is a CROOK AND A LIAR! The worst Florida Governor ever!

Rubio is laying low waiting for the next shoe to drop about the misuse of RNC money. Meek will lose- his family has not seen a “kickback” they did not accept. We do not want a clueless businessman Greene.
Charlie Christ will win the senate race!
