Meek camp: Greene avoiding questions
by Michael C. Bender | June 24th, 2010Here’s the second web video from the Kendrick Meek campaign following his debate with Democratic U.S. Senate primary opponent Jeff Greene. The debate was hosted by The Palm Beach Post at the paper’s auditorium on Tuesday.
The latest video hits Greene for avoiding questions about the fortune he made from the meltdown of the housing market. Greene will not say exactly how much he earned or how much he invested. He also literally turns his back on reporters when CBS 4 Miami reporter Jim DeFede asks if any banks Greene invested with accepted federal stimulus money.
However, Meek’s accusation that Greene fled after the debate is a bit misleading. The clip of WPLG reporter Michael Putney saying, “Jeff Greene has left,” comes after Putney spent several minutes asking Greene questions. Viewers will notice that just about everybody else had left the room by then, too.
Meek’s campaign released the first post-debate video on Wednesday.

Meek is corrupt, he gave his mother a job for doing nothing. He never answered the question on that matter. But changed it to an attack on his mother. I thought an answer was in order.
By the most if not all politicians are corrupt. Especially in Broward.

So, what do you think about Jeff Green? He must have reasons for avoiding questions about his finances. He is trying to buy election a U.S. Senate seat. Do you think that is proper?

Greene can attack Meek’s mother, but will use his own mother in a Century Village commercial.

That’s the type of democrat he is.

Someone should ask that short little guy Abruzzo why he is backing this guy and why Wexler’s staff is running Crist’s campaign…oh yeah at that women Ms. Rose who works Wexler’s campaign staff is running Greens campaign?
I can’t believe my little Bobby has left of us this way. I always loved him and now he lives us with a bunch of schmucks running this county. I knew his mother-in-law was right.
