Greene: ‘all kinds of this crazy stuff’ in the Koran
by Michael C. Bender | June 25th, 2010“I like lots of career politicians; I’m not against all career politicians,” Greene said. “I am against the career politicians I’m running against.”
“I’m not an expert on Muslims,” Greene said. But he added that anyone who knows anything about the Koran knows that it contains “all kinds of this crazy stuff. And unfortunately that’s motivating a lot of these extremists.”
He doesn’t hide from his friendship with “Hollywood Madam” Heidi Fleiss (”She’s a businesswoman”) or his feud with film director Ron Howard (”He screwed me”). He denies the anecdotes about his extravagant life as a bachelor detailed in “The Greatest Trade Ever,” a book by Wall Street Journal columnist Gregory Zuckerman, two copies of which are in a bookcase in Greene’s billiards room. (”I’ve never even been into strippers or had a hooker,” he said. “It’s not my thing.”)

I’m sure he thinks there is all kinds of crazy stuff in every religious text. Because there is. Why single out this one? Why no follow-up? Your reporting sucks.

Billionaire Jeff Greene=Billionaire Alan Grayson.
Greene is from California, had Mike Tyson as his ‘best man, supplied Heidi Fleiss with a housing and now wants to be a senator from Florida.
Greene also PROFITTED on the housing crisis, making money for himself and attacked his opponent’s mother.
Rather have Meeks than this guy.
And Joe Abruzzo should go as a representative since he is endorsing another Grayson for our state.
OUT WITH ABRUZZO.

Obviously the PBP is endorsing “Weak Meek” by trying to make something over nothing. As for the Koran….I don’t recall a jew, buddhist, hindu or morman try to kill christians en mass…

I can find more than one instance where Christians killed Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, etc en mass.
Maybe open a history book or 2 before making sweeping statements.
And that goes for Mr. Greene as well.

Alan Grayson is the only person I would vote for other than Charlie Crist. Alan Grayson could be a quardrillion-aire and I’d gladly vote for him - he is for the people, and no it’s not the kool-aid talking. It’s my independent thinking that’s got me all-a-socialistic.

what is wrong with jeff greene? he talks without thinking. i am sure that is how he does business. we need someone who cares about all people, not just the ones he picks and chooses.
the Koran, should be read by mr. greene. he would take back what he said. stop this man before it is too late.

what kind of car does Greene drive again? where did he get his money? if you can answer those questions, you know Greene is not the one to vote for.

If I was a democrat he’d get my vote for simply having the cajones for speaking up about this religion of hate, islam.

Wow. As ‘history1st’ stated, open up a history book!! Look at the CHRISTIAN CRUSADERS. Look at the modern Jewish State of Israel — imposing a religious system that deprives the Palestinians of their right to live in their homeland.
Again, open up a history book before making such sweeping statements. It is only embarrassing to yourself, as you illuminated your own ignorance. Self-incrimination, anyone?

Jeff is right. Though he should have elaborated that ALL religious texts are full of “all kinds of crazy stuff”. They are all religulous! Of course I do not mean to include the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I have been touched by HIS noodly appendage and I believe in HIS teachings. Ramen!
