Loranne Ausley is going to win over Jeff Atwater for CFO. Teachers will make good on their promise to get rid of the legislators who lead poorly., as he did on SB6 .

Atwater claims in this speech that “we’re not taking any more of your hard earned money” while bragging that California and New York are bankrupt and Florida has the highest bond rating. Yet, he fails to explain how he managed to balance Florida’s budget last year and this year with FEDERAL subsidies which come from whom? The taxpayers, so in the end yes he is taking our “hard earned money” and using it to plug his budget’s holes so he doesn’t have to raise money from state taxes and account for that decision at election time. Meanwhile, he hopes to double his bets by scoring points and name recognition criticizing the federal Congress that rescued him and his state’s budget. Pathetic.

Why didn’t Atwater make an effort at a “balanced budget amendment” whe for * years Bush spent money like it grew on trees and wiped out years of budget surpluses?

I hope folks do their homework , not at Fox either, before the next election. Have you heard the expression ” he speaks with forked tongue” ? that goes for lots of the legislators in Tallahassee now . Please vote thoughtfully and ” throw the bums out ” who vote without regard for their constituants and only seek to further their own interests. Or to repay pre-election promises. We should all work for campaign finance reform . It would stop a lot of this…. working for the people who haave the deep pockets.

Jeff Atwater is a little Glenn Beck. It’s amazing what a politician will do to pander for votes.
