Will skipped cancer meeting fuel challenge of Santamaria?

If Palm Beach County Commissioner Jess Santamaria decides to run for reelection despite his complaints that half his job is a “waste of time,” he could face a Democratic primary challenge from Indian Trail Improvement District President Michelle Damone.
Damone was among the elected officials who attended last week’s Tallahassee meeting on cancer concerns in The Acreage — a meeting Santamaria skipped because it didn’t include face time with Gov. Charlie Crist.
“He should have been here. It was disappointing,” Damone said of Santamaria.

George, Jose….
somebody do a public records request for all the memos Commissioner Santamaria has issued to his staff since becoming a Commissioner. One in particular….I expect coffee to be served to me upon my arrival to the office…. indicates what he thinks is most important to the job. You will get a kick out of them, I promise. Somebody needs to run against him. He is convinced that he is the smartest human being in Palm Beach County, but never gets anything done in District 6. Maybe he didn’t want to go to Tallahassee, because he has problems finding his way here and there. Maybe he was afraid he would get lost….AGAIN!
