why arent dems taking their case to the people by explaining what’s in the bill? why arent reps offering their own plan? mostly I only see this issue discussed in the broadest terms and in the context of us vs them. why are they wasting our time and money and killing people in the process?

Also taking into account the threats by Stupak and his willingness to kill all reform if he doesn’t get his way on abortion means that reconciliation may be the only possible way to enact a reform bill.
