Dem polling outfit shows Rubio with 60-28 GOP primary lead over Crist

by George Bennett | March 9th, 2010

Democratic firm Public Policy Polling says former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio now has a 60-to-28 percent lead over Gov. Charlie Crist in their Republican U.S. Senate primary race.

Rubio’s lead is bolstered by a “staggering” 71-to-17 percent lead among conservatives, the poll says. Click here for PPP’s analysis.

Crist’s campaign was quick to label the poll “agenda-driven” and “designed to help Speaker Rubio, as they understand how easy it would be to defeat a lobbyist-politician in November.”

    Rubio might consider the following job creation programs;

    For every four oil derricks that are shut down a new one can be put up.New derricks are twenty times more productive then old. Support oil piplines since they are far saffer than oil tankers bringing in foreign oil.

    Allow next generation nuclear plants to be built on land approved by the state and county. Endless law suits should be avoided and legislation should insure this. Wind and sollar should be encouraged where financially feasible.

    For every acre used for large scale job creation projects.Three wilderness acres should be donated to state and recreation parks. This would be much more efficient than fighting law suits that any group can file whenever they feel like it. Litigation is the number one job killer.

    New facilities should be able to employ who they deem to be the most qualified for the job. Unions should not control this procces.

    State and local government should not be allowed to set taxes that are onerous. Jobs will provide income for the community.

    Lawyers and advocates should not be allowed to pass legislation that stops new job creation projects.

    Counties should create zoning laws if they want new jobs to come into their communities. Outside litigators should have to pay for nuisance law suits.

    Government employees should not be paid more than private eployees for the same job.

    Stae employees should be moved to IRA’s as opposed to cadillac benefits packages that tax payers can not afford to pay.

    Support Rubio and his commitment to liberty for all.

    Even some Republcan incumbents are going to be looking for work. The people are mad and Marco is a Conservative without Washington ties. In addition, Marco is an American success story who worked hard for everything he has.

    I don’t live in Florida, but like many people across the country I have been watching this race and am absolutely delighted with the latest poll numbers. If real republicans, by which I mean those who believe in the republic, the constitution, the bill of rights, fiscal responsibility, limited government, individual liberty and individual responsibility, can take back the republican party, we may yet set this country back on the right course. If we fail I hate to think of the consequences.
