Atwater: “no qualms” about releasing AmEx records, “but it’s their card”
by George Bennett | March 1st, 2010
Senate President Jeff Atwater, R-North Palm Beach, had one of those notorious Republican Party of Florida American Express cards. He says his spending was all legit and he has “no qualms” about his records becoming public. But Atwater, who’s running for chief financial officer this year, says he doesn’t have copies of his own and it’s up to the state GOP to decide whether to release credit card records.

Will someone pull Alex McBride Sink’s charges, as well as, Kendrick Meeks’?
Do you think that will happen to a democrat in Florida?
Vote out democrats.

Dru: One, the Democratic Party of Florida doesn’t have any money and it doesn’t give elected officials credit cards. Kendrick’s spending can be seen on the FEC’s website. That would be his spending on his Senate campaign. You can also see what Alex (McBride) Sink has spent money on by going to the Florida SOE (Supervisor of Elections) to look at how they spend their campaign money. That can also be done for the Democratic Party of Florida at the same site. You obviously have no clue what you’re talking about bc this whole argument has been about the fact that the RPOF has cards (while Democrats don’t), and they were given out to so many people within the party. This is a Republican problem. You need to know what you’re talking about before you can criticize people. You be shocked to know that even Republican elected officials have called this ridiculous and are furious. Especially large Republican donors, who are seeing their dollars spent on Marco Rubio’s haircut. Read & understand before you share Dru.

Atwater I have supported you in the past, but I guess you are throwing Rubio under the bus and siding with Crist’s mudd slinging. I will not support you again. Everyone knows how corp AMEX’s work except you and Crist!
