‘America’s Most Wanted’ host John Walsh endorses Crist for Senate

by George Bennett | March 18th, 2010

VERO BEACH — America’s Most Wanted host John Walsh is backing Gov. Charlie Crist’s Republican U.S. Senate bid and is scheduled to appear with him here at tonight’s Indian River GOP Lincoln Day dinner.

Crist is wrapping up a day of governing and campaigning here at The Club at Pointe West, where he’ll deliver the keynote speech at the Republican repast.

Crist toured the St. Lucie River and Estuary this morning (“magnificent,” he called it) with former state Senate President Ken Pruitt and Environmental Protection Secretary Mike Sole, then visited Indian River State College in Fort Pierce for an economic development roundtable. He then attended a $500-a-head fund-raiser with Walsh before coming to the Lincoln Day dinner.

  1. Crist Corruption Says:

John Walsh has done a good job. Having said that John apparently does not know how corrupt Crist and the state of Florida is. John don’t get the news until until they get on the “most wanted” status. Well John hold on! Soon you will be recanting your Crist endorsement and featuring Crist on America’s most wanted at the most corrupt governor in US history. What a great show that will be. John, please stick to capturing non-political criminals and leave these corupt politicians to the Feds.

  2. me Says:

Who cares what walsh says? He is not even a legal homesteaded resident of florida! He has become a yankee carpetbagger, looking for face time and notoriety! He has been failing miserably lately in his ratings,I guess riding on the murder of his son is finally wearing out/thin! Shameful!!

  3. Mark Teal Says:

At least John Walsh has done alot of good for victims of violent crime and cold cases. My heart goes out to him. I know how it feels.

  4. No Way Says:

No way John Walsh would endorse some one like Crist. He’s a sicko wacko. John Walsh don’t know Crist like the people of Florida do. John’s like manuel he means well, but this is BS.

  5. All Good Things come To An End Says:

Ya’ll know the old saying all good things got to come to an end. According to his falling ratings Walsh and Crist might come to the ziggidy, ziggidy, that’s all folks line about the same time. I have a murdered child and I know what that feels like, especially when no one has to pay for it. But, Walsh has taken this to extremes for years. Now all of his shows should be renamed, South America’s Most Wanted because that’s 99% of the shows.
