That's patently ridiculous. He never held himself out to be Calvin Coolidge. For better or worse, in Rubio's position, he's expected to look good, and he does. That may cost a little bit. So what? He paid for the personal charges himself. Crist, for his part, looks petty, vindictive and slimey. Such tactics should be beneath the conduct of a sitting governor.
