Florida Republicans paid top staffer $408,000
by Michael C. Bender | February 3rd, 2010The story from the Orlando Sentinel today is ripping through political circles in Tallahassee:
For the past year, Delmar Johnson mixed and mingled with the well-heeled and powerful, chasing checks from large Republican donors from fishing piers in Key West to a football stadium in Boston.
But even as the economy soured and GOP fundraising lagged, Johnson earned more than perhaps any party leader in Florida history — at least $408,000 as executive director and chief fundraiser for the Republican Party of Florida. His total pay was more than triple what party chairman Jim Greer made.
Nearly $200,000 of that came through a contract signed by Greer and Johnson naming Johnson as the party’s chief fundraiser. That contract was apparently never divulged even to senior members of the party’s executive committee.

This is only the beginning. When the entire culture of corruption scandal of Crist, Greer and cronies is brought to light it will run from Tallahassee to south Florida. The lies and deceit have been ongoing now for the better part of eight years! Never in the history of Florida politics has a governor been directly connected to so many people under investigation and some already indicted. One of the worst problems with the corruption within the RPOF is these very theiving and caniving individuals who are committing this organized corruption stand directly in the path of the Republican people of Florida who are concerned about the socialist path this great nation is now headed in under the present administration. This high level of corruption in the Florida Republican party undermines any efforts decent and honest people within the state attempt to pursue. It is well known by many Florida Republicans that after Crist did not receive the vice president spot on the ticket with McCain the RPOF under the orders of Crist and Greer made no sincere efforts to help elect McCain-Palin. At the time it was said if the McCain-Palin ticket won Charlie Crist would not have a chance at the whitehouse for up to twelve years. Crist and Greer felt like an Obama win first, then Crist to the Senate for 2 yrs and that would give Charlie a shot at the Whitehouse in just four years.

RPOF Corruption ….. and you are saying the Democrats are beyond reproach? Get real.

I don’t believe I known anyone with brains who is stupid enough to believe the Democrats are beyond reproach. Public and politican corruption has no parties. The culture of corruption has many issues that politicians will reach accross party lines to propagate. It is pretty obvious right now that Obama and his administration are doing a lot of reaching and a lot of propagation of corruption.

Hey GOP how about letting state and federal workers know how much the GOP Legislators and Congressional members gave their own staffs in raises and bonuses – EX. Cong. Mack gave $50,000 in bonuses to his staff. Where the fiscal responsibility here?
