Canon, Cretul and Weatherford hit the links as former speaker’s conduct hearings open

housevillagesgolfWhile former House Speaker Ray Sansom gets grilled on Monday over accusations that he wielded his influence in many improper ways, current House Republican leaders will be strolling the Bermuda grass of the Palmer Legends Country Club in The Villages.

House Speaker Larry Cretul and designated future speakers Dean Cannon and Will Weatherford are hosting a Republican fundraiser at the Arnold Palmer-designed course on Monday and Tuesday.

    Good move Cretul. Ya’ll need to raise a bunch of money to replace all that money yu crooked cronies blew. And yu chose a good place to do it. By the way, where is that IRS agent that’s been looking at the Villages illegal bonding problems lately? Morse sure has a way of keeping that secret from the Villagers (He ownes the Village Sun) and might as well own the Leesburg Comical and Orlando Slantinel along with channel 2, 6. and 9. Oh well, that IRS agent was pretty adamant things weren’t too kosher over there I’m sure Bill O’Rielly will have a story on it when it hits the fan.
