Joe Doe's comment is ridiculous. Every citizen has the right to free speech, whether they work for a corporation or not. The argument against this decision is that the Bill of Rights should only apply to people. Corporations are not people.

if i disagree with my employers political contribution/advertising, i would feel harassed. i have signed multiple employment agreements over the years limiting my right to free speech while at work (no politics, no bad language, no religion or sex discussions) in order to maintain my employment. but now my boss is free to use my participation in work in whatever he wants to mouth off about politically? if i have to keep my mouth shut, then so should he. freedom of speech should remain an individual right, not become a corporation right. that's why there are political parties and action committees. this is going to end up another way to infringe upon workers rights. there is going to be a lot of trouble over this.

So are you supposed to automatically lose your First Amendment rights to discuss politics just b/c you work for a corporation?

Another balanced article from the PbPost. Note there is nothing in this post about why it was a good decision. Unfair and unbalanced.
