Crist will attend Obama’s town hall if ‘logistics’ can be worked out
by Michael C. Bender | January 26th, 2010Republican Gov. Charlie Crist said he would be in the Tampa Bay area on Thursday and would attend President Obama’s town hall if the schedules worked out.
“If we can work it out logistically, I will be with him,” Crist said.
Crist said criticism from Republicans, like his U.S. Senate primary opponent Marco Rubio, wouldn’t factor in his decision. “That’s not my concern. My concern is fighting for jobs for the people of Florida.”

Well, isn’t this a pretty pickle Crist has put his pretty mouth around? Having said this, he is either bound to make another appearance with the Obamanator or demonstrate that Crist himself is incompetent as regards his commanding his own logistics. Pray tell, what absurd logic promptly Shucking Chuckles to utter such nonsense?

Crist will be senator either way. If the extreme right nominates Rubio, then Crist will run as an independent and beat both Rubio and the Democratic candidate. Crist has been a very effective non partisan governor and that’s what voters want. If you doubt me, just think about senator Lieberman. Lieberman was not nearly as popular as Crist and he won the three way in a landslide.
