Bill Clinton coming to Boca for Ted Deutch fund-raiser
by George Bennett | January 5th, 2010
Former President Bill Clinton will appear at a fund-raiser for Democratic state Sen. Ted Deutch’s congressional campaign on Jan. 19 in Boca Raton, Deutch’s campaign said.
The late-afternoon event will be at St. Andrew’s Country Club. Clinton is scheduled to speak that evening in Palm Beach at a dinner for major Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County donors at The Breakers.
Deutch was a prominent supporter of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 2008 Democratic presidential bid. He and former Broward County mayor Ben Graber are running in a special Feb. 2 primary for the seat of former U.S. Rep. Robert Wexler, D-Boca Raton, who resigned to head a Middle East think tank. Three Republicans are also running. The general election is April 13.

Ben Graber was an early supporter of Hillary Clinton and was then endorsed by Women for Hillary. Ben was also an advisor to the White House in 1993 on Health Care reform after passing landmark legislation in Florida with Lawton Chiles.
We believe President Clinton is unaware of the primary race members and has been invited by the Federation as a courtesy. We believe the Deutch campaign is exploiting his presence as a speaker for the Federation.Someone should let President Clinton know.

Deutch=Wexler
Hey, did you get your social security COLA? NO?
Did you know that democrats approved giving a raise to federal workers?
Did you know that democrats received an INCREASE of dollars for their Congressional budgets?
YEP, the public gets screwed and taxed, but the government gets RAISES, increase in budget and their OWN golden healthcare, while they exempted themselves from the rationed, crap they are trying to force down our throats.
Deutch will continue the same. He’s not an independent thinker, but part of the mob-like mentality that has overtaken part of Florida politics.
NO to Deutch. Another Wexler, another closed door democrat.

Just say “NO” to incumbants and office swappers. Career politicans out the door in 2010. Just try it one time and see if it works. It seems everyone thinks we can’t survive without these trained commercial politicians. They are the seed of the culture of corruption.

Deutch equals J Street and AIPAC and $900 Billion in aid to Israel. yes, that is billion, not million. Nearly a trillion in aid to Israel.
Deutch equals American soldiers dying in the Middle East with NO ISRAELI soldiers DYING and FIGHTING BESIDE our children who fight for THEM!
That’s plain wrong, but continually perpetuated. Our children dying, not theirs.
Wexler went to work for an Israel foundation.

Ted Deutch is the most competent among the candidates to be a U.S. Congressman.
Ted will bring home the bacon to the 19th district. Ted is not a “yes man”. He’s a seasoned legislator who respects our constitution.
I’m glad Wexler has left public service. He did a poor job in the 19th district. I hope he has no further political ambitions. I would not want him as a U.S. Senator

Hey JJ
Better be careful what you say about Jews in public. The Jews will find you and beam down the nucleonic ray from the satellite they launched into space 5 years ago.
If the Jews beam you with the nucleonic ray you will become a changed man. Again, be careful what you say about Jews in public.

Ben Graber for Congress, YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING. Bill Clinton was President of the United States! Don’t you think that he knows how a political fundraiser works and that he checked out the other candidates in this race? I’m sure that Bill Clinton knows when he supports and endorses a candidate over another candidate (in this case Deutch over Graber) that there are others running. Come on! Perhaps you are trying to mislead the readers here into thinking that Clinton somehow would support Graber. If Graber was an advisor to the White House in 1993 when Clinton was president and he’s supporting Deutch, I think that says alot about Deutch…. and Graber!

Oh good…another liar.

I’m voting for Joe Budd.

Seriously, BenGraberforCongress? I don’t think anyone has to let the former President of the United States know who is in the race or that the Deutch campaign is “exploiting” his visit. President Clinton is clearly going out of his way to appear at this event because he knows Ted is the best candidate in the race. Anyone who’s heard Deutch or spent a few minutes with him can tell you that he genuinely cares about the people and has shown he can be a real leader and pass meaningful change. I’m with Bill on this one!

Deutch = Wexler. He even includes an endorsement from Bobby in his campaign commercial. Machine candidates have gotten us where we are now. Vote for someone with principles and values, not the guy that will get you the most stuff, JoseO. Your “bring home the bacon” quote is exactly what’s wrong with the system. And IndVoter — Deutch might be the best politician in this race, but we don’t need more politicians. Pick a candidate that has done something more than run for office. Pick a candidate that has run a business, that has both succeeded and failed in the “real world”, not the just practiced in the beltway shuffle.

I try and tell my kids not to buy what they can afford, dont max out the credit card – its irresponsible. When a nation does it – gulp!
We need someone like Joe Budd who understands finance and is fiscally responsible!
