Outsourcing is a way of life now.
its cheaper simple as that.

they will not briong it back as they are not then responsible for health care and pensions, and the subsidury expenses. Like cleaning maintenance etc.

Its cold hard economics, the UK does it all the time. You can call your local supermarket and be actually speaking to someone in India or Pakistan.

What you need to do is ban walmart. Stop big chain stores spreading to keep local business afloat and local jobs. If you do not then price inflation occurs as there is no competion.

I could go on about other affects, like quality of life, politicians looking for cheap fixes is not going to solve the long term effects, on social issues and foreigh policies and years of war

You people are finally starting to wake up.

Your congress and Governmnet sold you out.
The U.S. hit the $300 BILLION DOLLAR mark in OUTSOURCED JOBS in 2009 all promoted by Congress and past Presidents. In fact they passed massive Tax Breaks for Companies to do it and get rid of you and your car and house payment and Health Insurance and so on.

Your job was sold for cheap labor overseas and exploiting the worlds poor to replace you.

If you think it is bad now, just wait.

By the end of 2010 most of you will be homeless. The Department of Defense and other Government Agencies have stated they are preparaing for massive RIOTS and Civil Unrest.

While you set back and ignored what your Government was doing you have lost your way of life and the right to work and take care of your Family.

Banks and Wallstreet are posting MASSIVE Profits in the worse Rescession/DEPRESSION in History.
Does that tell you anything???

You better get preparaed, there will be riots and protests and FOOD shortages.

OUR COUNTRY IS BEING DESTROYED

The unemployment rate is so high because we still allow H1 and J2 visa workers in all the high end country clubs. They work here and send all the monies back to the country they came from.No help to our economy. They recieve free room and board at the most wealth clubs in the country. Why do we import labor when we have enough here?

While incentive money's and such are nice from the federal government there is little they can do. Todays problems within Florida come from the short sightedness of our leaders. They only are concerned with what will get them elected. While not wanting to agree with "Patriot" I find myself afraid that we have not seen the bottom, that it will get worse, at least in the State of Florida. We do not encourage industry, there is nothing for anyone to do except build condominiums. We already have so many of them they are falling down.

We need to get good men in Congress who care about us. Men who will not be influenced by a "promisory" note. Joe Budd, running for U.S. Congress District 19, is your man. He has been in situations like many are today and understands what it's like to barely make it by. He has common sense solutions to create jobs and improve our economy. Check out his website @ joebuddforcongress.com and a recent youtube video. His youtube channel is: joebuddforcongress.

17% of the children in Florida are living below the poverty level. That is to close to one forth for comfort. CharLIE Crist has offered no solution to this catastrophy except they should ride the rail and get an education. What about this coming week this is Christmas! Lord help us help the children! People like Crist have no children and do not understand raising a child and providing for a child. Please don't make us suffer six years of this idiot in Washington, we have enough idiots in Washington. We need honest people with brains.

Subtract all of the illegal aliens that are taking the honest, taxpaying citizen's jobs from the 1 million unemployed and you will see the real impact of the current immigration policy. We do not need immigration reform, we need to enforce the immigration laws that are on the books. It's criminal to have unemployed taxpaying Americans out of work because people from other impoverished countries cannot wait their turn for legal immigration processes.

That's because all those in power are out of touch with reality. They need to start fresh bottom up and just realize that both the Democrats and the Republicans are screwing everyone. Look at Broward County and Palm Beach County.

All of them are corrupt and people still vote for Aaronson people. How dumb do you have to be.

Why pass health care reform if those same people that have been getting unemployment benefits 2.5 years are going to be benefitting off the backs of those that actually make an effort or are working. Talk about welfare

I, myself, have been unemployed for one year and one month. I never qualified for unemployment compensation, although I did apply fot it. I have a Bachelor's Degree and feel as if going to college was a waste of time and money.

My husband has a Master's Degree but is currently stocking shelves at Home Depot. He makes about $13/hr. and we have a teenager who will be going to college in a couple of years. (How we're gonna pull that off is beyond me.)

Mister President, where are all those new jobs the stimulus was supposed to have created???
