Crist uses special session bill to criticize Senate opponent

by Michael C. Bender | December 9th, 2009

About 15 hours after the legislature approved a bill to increase the size of the state’s commuter rail system, Gov. Charlie Crist’s U.S. Senate campaign released the video above hoping to embarrass his primary opponent, former House Speaker Marco Rubio.

During the special session, Rubio warned legislators about the proposal but did not say whether he would have voted for or against the bill.

Perhaps when people view the entire interview video used by Crist in in his hit piece they will see how Crist tries to distort Rubio’s comments.
Here is the whole interview in full context.

Pay attention to the fact that Rubio is concerned about using federal funding for the project.

Another Crist Greer scheme to mislead people about Crists own record. No thanks!! When you find Rubio hugging Obama and begging for stimulus money let me know!
