by Michael C. Bender | December 29th, 2009

Isn’t this what we’ve been saying all along…this health care plan is huge tax increase for all middle class Americans http://bit.ly/4nuvKS

  1. Kelvin Says:

No kidding, Obama’s been lying the whole time. It will be the middle class who will bear the burden….and the younger generationS that will be paying off all the debt incurred.

Cash for clunkers…yep, that’s your tax money.

Cash for appliances…yep, that’s your tax money.

Stimulus money…yep, that’s your tax money.

Fannie and Freddie…yep, that’s your tax money….and this administration KEEPS spending and will be TAXING everyone.

Just wait…the VAT…value added tax will be coming.

Out with democrats. And vote them out in your local elections…just wait…all fees going UP!

  2. Is this the same Jeff Atwater? Says:

Is this the same Jeff Atwater that just forced Florida taxpayers to subsidize a multinational corporation – CSX?

And is this the same Jeff Atwater that voted for a budget last year that raised billions of dollars in taxes and fees.

Just wanted to make sure we were talking about the same person.

  3. whasup Says:

Indeed, it is the same Atwater who championed an Obama-light project worthless, but expensive toy train project here in Florida. But that fact only underscores his valid point. Criticism of Atwater’s criticism of Obama’s massive payoff to the health insurance and health care-industrial complex is endorsing his point. The difference is only in degree, and they both have many degrees of stink.

  4. Native Floridian Says:

    JEFF who?

    Who cares what he says?

He’s just another republican scam artist.

He orchestrated a $1.2 BILLION dollar waste of Florida public funds on corporate welfare for CSX to do what Po-Dunk Nashville Tennessee did for $40 million total.

He’s just another one of Jeb’s crooked buddies in the state senate who quacks every time his trainers tell him to.

Thanks Dems in Congress for caring about 100% of the American populace rather than just the 5%, the Repugnants normally cater to.

  5. George Stewart Says:

This sucks! No surprise though considering the political landscape “we the people” elected into office. Hope those that voted for the dude are happy with the change their getting. They deserve it!

  6. Gay Butler Says:

It’s all a scam, just follow the money.

  7. Arlene Giammarco Says:

So, Mr. Atwater, tell us something we don’t know. Everything President Obama has pushed so far has hurt America. The stimulus packages only helped the people that already had good credit, because they had not lost their jobs, make purchases. The mortgage modification program has not been used much because the banks don’t want to re-write loans for people who don’t have jobs or have bad credit because they have lost their jobs. How could the Congress possibly pass a bill that will decrease Medicare benefits and say it is good for the American people? We have a very serious, serious problem in the White House and Congress – so, tell us how do we fix it now?

  8. D. S. Howie Says:

I think the idea of each us of getting 3 bullets and gun at 70 is good. Who has passed all this BS? Congress. Get rid of them All. They are the problem not the solution.
